Frank is right. I've been trying to get apdl to notice a question about Buddhism in the separation of church/state thread, but it keeps getting pushed back by Delija prodding Frank about something from a separate thread, and Frank posting back. He's been asked a number of times to post in the original thread, but it keeps spilling over into other threads. I finally had to ask for it to cease, because I had to keep bumping my post for adpl.

I know you will be back.

No, you enjoyed being called names. At least that is what you claimed. And no, I will not be back. There are hundreds, if not thousands of other Internet forums to waste my time with.

If I've learned anything in my time here, it is to not do it at all. No upside. I came here originally to learn about my (then) new XD. Since that time, I have sold it and replaced it with guns that are more suited to my purposes ...not that I don't think the XD is a great firearm....it is, but it is a service weapon IMO, and I am not a LEO or a soldier (anymore).

If I wanted to give up my anonymity, I would have long ago. But put Rizzo on it....he'll figure it out. They did three different profiles on me since 1999, and Fortune Magazine did two. Rizzo certainly has enough "clues" as to who fits my description. Let him live up to his potential as the poor man's Inspector Clouseau.

Peace,
D.

A smart person like Delija (ask him) could easily post his Forbes magazine article with his personal information edited out to PROVE his claim.

Thank you, XDinNC. Perhaps now, Jednp, and others will realize that the person doing the prodding and "adding fuel to the fire" is delija. He has been hijacking several threads lately and simply refuses to stop, even when asked in a respectful way.

And what do you call this thread? Is this not somehow adding fuel to the fire?

Again, I have never once personally attacked him. He HAS personally attacked me on several occaisons.

He has attacked me about my name. I share the same name as the former criminal mayor of Philadelphia.

He has attacked me about where I live. I live near the downeast Maine region--apparently he thinks that is funny

I have been insulted because I only make about 30K per year.

I have been called a buffoon, a liar, an idiot, that I'm delusional....etc

He continues to prove that when many liberals run out of substance in a debate, they resort to personal attacks.

So for delija to come here and try to take the moral high ground is laughable at best.

We all know who has stooped to the level of personal attacks, started polls asking if someone should be banned and has caused threads to be locked.

This thread really needs to be locked. I have reported it to the mods. I am pretty sure that it is against the code of conduct to start threads purely to bash people.

Delija,

Don't go away!

I always like your insight and character. I always thought you and I were closer together that we were apart. Proof positive that "conservative" does not necessarily mean "Republican boot-licker."

Come on now...you've got thicker skin that that. I doubt you scare off that easily. I get hammered quite a bit here and there, but it does not phase me. Let them try to pidgeonhole the unpidgeonholealbe (is that a proper word? Probably not). Half the fun is watching them try, is it not?

Please stay. You have insights and life experiences to share that ARE valuable. Others might not see them, but I do.

- Brickboy240

PS: I never knew you were in Forbes Magazine.

Perhaps I haven't been here long enough, but I haven't seen the insightful posts. I can appreciate a well-argued position, regardless of political leanings.

Just like I cited someone for starting a post specifically aimed at attacking bd (which I requested the post to be deleted), I must state the same here. Delija, this post is not right and should not have been started. For a person that holds himself in such high regard, I'm surprised (and disappointed) that you decided to take this route. Yeah sure, we poke fun at one another in the political forum (myself included). But I have only seen rare cases where someone intentionally started a thread with that goal so blatantly and irresponsibly stated.

I carry my XD45 ACP Tactical, in a SuperTuck from CB. Very comfortable, easy to hide, easy to draw, and easy to reholster.

Looking for an HDR*, either an AR-180B, or Kel-Tec FBR.
