Ok Here is what is getting sent off. Please feel free to re-use any content. If you want the word document send me a PM i'll e-mail it to you. Mail merge is your friend i'm finding out. I put all of the elected officials addresses into Outlook. Its just point and click once the letter is written. Pretty easy to do.

This legislation would reauthorize for ten years the Public Safety and Recreational Firearms Use Protection Act, which prohibits the manufacture, transfer, or possession of a semiautomatic assault weapon or a large capacity ammunition feeding device. H.R. 1022 has been referred to the House Committee on the Judiciary, where it awaits further approval.<O <O When our Founding Fathers drafted the Constitution, they included the Second Amendment to guarantee people the right to keep and bear arms. The constitution does not differentiate the type of arms one could own. <O A common misperception is drawn between law-abiding citizen’s firearm ownership and crime. H.R 1022 draws the conclusion that by limiting gun ownership to law-abiding citizens will somehow protect Public Safety or Law Enforcement. All of the studies completed after the prior Assault Weapons Ban was enacted under President Clinton showed no direct or indirect benefit to Law Enforcement, Public Safety or reduction in crime. <O <O H.R 1022 is not something I am for, I am against H.R 1022 and violation of rights guaranteed under the constitution to all Americans. Please help me understand why elected representatives continue efforts to restrict and violate our rights guaranteed under the constitution. <O Sincerely,<O
