Anyone watch HBO's "Rome"?
Notice how Octavian dealt with the Roman Senate? Ever wish Bush would do that with Congress?

Love the show. The best written show on TV I have seen, and pretty savvy too.

Awesome show. I've only seen the 1st season on DVD, since I don't have HBO, but it's definitely one of the best HBO shows I've ever seen.

Too bad they killed Deadwood before the story was finished
But yes, I've watched every episode of Rome. It's brutal, vulgar and graphic, but we love it! There is a new Showtime original scheduled for April that looks interesting, too. "The Tudors" I think it's called? It's the story of King Henry VIII when he was a young "rock-star" king. Should be interesting anyway. |
