what they are trying to do is force all the good people out, and then they are going to sink the republic of kalifornia into the ocean. at least thats what i think.

So what do you presume would print the serial number on the casing? My guess would be the firing pin. So if you need a new firing pin, do you have to take it in & have a jeweler imprint your guns serial number on it?

What about revolvers? What kind of hi speed low drag crap would have to be in them?

Just another waste of time/energy/taxpayer money IMHO. No wonder people are leaving CA in droves.

Per packing.org, it is almost impossible to obtain one in this county; unless of course, you contribute politically to him. He is still in hot water for that one.
As a new gun owner im facing the realization that California wants guns out period. They will look into every loop poll trying to make it harder to purchase guns makin it so hard that eventually people will stop fighting and not buy guns. Just like winchester and rem. if they stop sellin here wow what would that do. Criminals are always goin to have guns and kill people. I know we all know this and its been said a million times on the forum. But am i to think that my politicans don't know this. These are not dumb people they know exactly what there doin gettin the guns out of good tax paying hands.

Me for one im goin to push what rights i have that left that have not been infringed upon. Im not goin to leave cuz it will just spread to other states we see it on here everyday.

So im goin to take my mom with me down to the upland pd and file for a ccw which i know will be denied but then i will have to appeal to the san bernardino sheriff. i've read that sheriff gary penrod is pretty good with ccw. i doubt i will get one based off my age of 22 but i'll try hopefully my mom will.

It just really puzzles me that these type of lawmakers (on both ends of the country - and a few in between) seem to come back to the same old song every time they want to impact "gun violence".

Did it ever occur to them that the type of people who use guns for criminal purposes have no interest whatsoever in complying with their laws? That these same people will ignore whatever laws are on the books and any future laws? The only people this type of law hurts is the same people they should be encouraging to have a handgun and who will hopefully know when and where to use it appropriately.

We have our own fair share these wacko's here in New York. They mostly come from the New York City area and, as of January, control almost all of the key positions in state government. We've already seen the results of this takeover - more restrictive gun laws proposed and several "gun enhancements" (smart guns and those that inscribe a unique identifying number on the spent shell casing) as being the only legal guns to be sold in this state.

Once again the leftist are trying to take guns out of the hands of honest people. Gangstas are not gonna care about the stamping. They will either disable it or use something else.

When the ammo and gun manufacturers refuse to sell in Ca. anymore because of the expense involved in complying with these laws, the following will occur: Gun grabbing legislators (overwhelmingly Dems) can say, "Hey, it wasn't our intent to stop law abiding citizens from having guns and ammo, it was the manufacturer's decision to stop selling.

When I can't buy ammo for my weapons I will move out of state. I will miss my family, but I will not live in a state that has turned completely Orwellian

surely there will be absolutely no gang bangers with guns made prior to this law, right? All gang bangers have legally registered weapons that will have had their ballistic dna stored already. As soon as this law goes into effect, gang bangers will learn to kill with bolt action rifles, and single shot shotguns which don't eject the shell.. and shotguns don't leave any markings on a bullet, because there are none to be made.

nope.. no way gang bangers will be able to overcome this law.. they will be caught immediately. Apparently the legislators believe that all guns used in these crimes will have been sold initially in california, never stolen, and all made prior to this law. I don't know about you, but if I wanna do harm to someone I'd use a revolver and I'd use one that was older than the law with no ballistic dna taken and no micro stamp technology.
