Romney makes it official.

Still no viable options.

An anti-gun, Mormon, fake conservative from Mass.

Wow, and I thought Guliani and McCain could not excite me less.

Nothing to see here folks...move along.

Sounds like you have a problem with Mormon's. Most members of the Latter Day Saint Church (Mormon) are very progun and very conservative. I would know I am a member of the church.

No, I don't have a problem with Mormons...but I can guarantee the media sure will. They hate everything that has to do with religion. They won't be able to bring up his name without the word "Mormon" in front or behind it.

Sorry, but the man is too far to the left on too many issues. It has more to do with his surroundings. You cannot be THAT conservative and be from Mass. sorry.

I have seen enough squishy Republicans and people that have religious baggage. This is surely not what we need and definately will not beat Hillary.

My wife, being from Connecticut, knows a bit about Romney, and he is NOT conservative. That has already been pointed out though. It sure made her twitch though..

Romney is a fake conservative.

Just look at his record.

Does anyone really think that a true conservative could get elected as the governor of MA??

All I've got to say is that if one of these fake conservatives gets nominated, the conservative base will NOT turn out for them. This will essential give the election to the democrats.

You are correct. They are very pro-gun and very conservative. I am LDS. Call me a slacker. I haven't been to church in a long while.

Nothing wrong with Mormons. I'm LDS. I am very pro-gun and moderately conservative.

Has anyone besides me ever noticed that its primarily religious types that are pro-gun, conservative people? Im talking true conservative, not the "conservative" that the President, or most of the "conservatives" in DC are.

That is because we know that we have the right to protect our freedom of religion, no matter what it takes.

Mormons are very big on protecting the United States. In many ways, the United States is their "Holy Land", and beleive that it needs to be protected at all costs. Mormons frown upon concientous objectors within their ranks. They believe in personal preparedness at all levels. I am a very inactive mormon. As a matter of fact, I am a bad mormon. I haven't been to church in 15 years. However, I still have a high amount of respect for them. Get to know what they are about, and you will realize that they are some of the biggest patriots that this country has left.
