I'm glad I voted Democrat in one race

Yes, i voted democrat and I'm not ashamed to say so! So far my democratic senator Ben Nelson has shown he is against illegal immigration, supports free speech and is against limiting what grassroots lobbying groups do. He is also a firm defender of our 2nd amendment rights. I just got proved this once again today. Here is a small quote out of the story. Read the story in the link if you want the whole thing. It's regading nationally recognized concealed carry.

Quote:
I've teamed up with Sen. Ben Nelson of Nebraska on this bill, and we're working to gather more support. So far, we have a bipartisan group of 18 other cosponsors.

That is what the founding fathers wanted, you to vote for person who respresents you.. Not a party.

GW wrote about this and worried about a 'party' system.

I'm just glad that I'm able to have a candidate to vote for who supports freedom, and your rights. When it comes down to it, I don't give a crap what you do in your personal life. What matters is that you defend the constitution like you swore to do, and use common sense. Thankfully my senator seems to be doing alright with the issues, like he always has.

The most I can hope for is my Gov. to keep getting it right.
