Next candidate, please.
Oh, now that's real smart.

Hannity asked Rudy about the 2nd ammendment on FOX news tonight. He said he supports assault weapon bans (not specific of course) and beleives states have the right to modify the 2nd ammendment for their purposes. He used NYC as an example....talked about how its denseley populated and that banning (or heavily restricting) handguns made sense...says it reduces crime...blablabla

He worries me because he's a very smooth talker like Clinton was and will probably gain a lot of "middle of the road" support. My 20 bucks says we'll be stuck voting for him or hillary.

If its between him and hillary you can bet I'll vote for him.

I think there are probably better choices but again I'll wait and see.

+1, except the mob part, but I'll make some popcorn for when that happens

I think G.W. Bush has more upstairs than Rudy - Rudy only has "cred" because he's a face that was seen a lot during the post 9-11 era.

No state should be able to circumvent the Consitution, Bill of Rights, or any other founding document.

Seems like we would have learned that lesson during prohibition...

We'd have better luck with an "American Idol" election.

Amen...where are the good candidates? I'm so worried about the future of this country that I'm seriously contemplating NOT having a child with my future wife even though we want one...I'm dead serious by the way.

I too watched hannity tonight. Made me sick to hear him say how different cities, states, should all be able to have their own laws to make people safer. He respects the 2nd amendment, doesn't want to take guns away from people. but he supports cities and states making laws, which would take guns away from people.

Just waht part of "taking guns away from people" do they not understand upsets us? do they think that as long as they let us keep certain guns while they take others we own.. means they didn't take our guns? I'm sorry, but if your law takes one of my guns.. you took guns from me.

I also like how Sean asked him if he supports people carrying a handgun for protection. He asked him twice, and he gave an answer that skirted the issue both times. All he could say was he supports the 2nd amendment but you have to find ways to make it work in different cities or states.

All just smooth talk for, I'm anti-gun and don't think you should own half of the guns you currently do. It's unsafe for you to do so, and I support making laws that will help you, help us make our cities safer. He mentioned the assault weapons ban. He supported that ban, because it helped get guns off the street he said. He didn't say it helped get assault weapons off the street, or that assault weapons were a big problem and being used in a lot of shootings. just that them not being there made things safer.
