I noticed both parties are into attacking Freedom these days. The Republicans want to ban abortion, gay sex, end-of life choice, and Habeas Corpus. The Democrats want to ban guns..well I am too tired to think of what else they want to ban, but they are acting like bungholes, I'm sure plenty of people here can fill in the rest. It's a race to see who can get votes by banning the most unpopular rights, and I hate them all for it. What have we turned into here?!

My point is does anyone know of any candidate who is going to defend Freedom in all it's wonderful forms, the rough edges and dissent, the rebel spirit to be unpopular so long as it doesn't hurt anyone else, that made this Country great?

Please supply links, I'm wiiide open.

This guy looks decent on paper. Too bad I never heard of him before.

Which seems like a major problem.

There's still almost two years 'till election and over a year until primaries. Maybe a decent candidate will come out of nowhere from one of the two major parties and just be the right person at the right time.

Thank you! I like what I see so far. I'm going to read it all after some sleep. I won't vote for the big two unless I see something very surprising, so I can at least vote for my beliefs. Thanks again, I'm going to sleep better now.

At least he is against gun contriol. As for his chance to win, I'd say a snow ball fight in hell seems more likley.

I voted LP last election, since Bush had AZ locked up. This time around I may have to vote Republican, since a Democrap controled congress and president would be a disaster of epic proportions. Until the sheep wake up (most likely never), the LP will remain a third party with great ideas, but not much chance of success. It does, however, feel good to vote for them.

Mike Badnarik ran for President in 04, and for Congress (TX) in 06.

He's interesting. I need to read more on the Iraq position. But he's pretty old and that alone may keep him out (72 yr old).

The only safeguard between yourself and unjustified prosecution and imprisonment is a thin, old piece of paper and people's willingness to uphold the words written on it.
