well said, I know if my line of work was more 'booming' in the Dallas area, Id pack up and leave dirty Jersey quicker then a jackrabbit on a date.

If I understood the searge right, he basiclly told me not to even apply for a CCW as it wont even make it to the judges desk. (without working security, or being retired from the force)..

and I work in newark NJ where the shootings have increased dramaticlly over the past year. When leaving to go get lunch i often wonder who around me is packin... illegal 'burners' of coarse. The guy that follows the laws and just wants some protection always gets screwed in the end. God I hate this place.

Good point, we need to exchange liberals for yard workers, and ruin the Mexican economy even more.

I carry my XD45 ACP Tactical, in a SuperTuck from CB. Very comfortable, easy to hide, easy to draw, and easy to reholster.

Looking for an HDR*, either an AR-180B, or Kel-Tec FBR.

Prob one of the smartest things you have ever done, correct?

I cant wait to get out... one day. Right now things are kinda hectic to even attempt it. I will be free of this state one day though, mark my words on that. Took damn near 5 months for my initial FID and pistol permit. Law says 30 days,,, YEA RIGHT

It is not a coincidence that this judge is anti-2A and she is a democrat.

Funny thing is I always wanted to move to TX after I visited my brother when he was at A&M, but it was a job I got in Louisiana that got me here. The job didn't work out, but once in Houston I knew my best prospects were by staying. With the exception of the current governor I'm very happy I moved to TX. Not as conservative as I would like it, but better than most.

No response from BD?? Although...using his logic there is nothing wrong her. She isnt "grabbing" any guns.

I bed all the gangs are drooling over this. They love gun control. Keeps guns out of the honest peoples hands.

NYS has another unpleasant aspect to their pistol permit program. Judges can (and do) write stipulations on the permit like: "only to be used for transporting one pistol to and from the shooting range from 6pm-9pm M-F". I kid you not. Ostensibly, a LEO who found you to be carrying your .22 LR target pistol out of the range at 9:01 pm could throw you in the slammer and revoke your permit.
