Maybe you're one of the lucky ones who can tell the difference between fact and opinion... there are quite a few here who can't.

I try not to confuse them.

The only way would be to label each sentence or paragraph. Even then, you'd get arguments. Although in some cases, giving a source would work (although it would be backwards). Give a link to "townhall.com" and it's fact. Give a link to the NY Times and it's not.

Peace,
D.

We should have had more troops in the first place (one of the BIGGEST mistakes Bush made with this war). What is the plan if it doesn't include more troops? If democrats succeed in making this war a failure and we leave before the country is secure, I wonder what the excuse will be from the liberals when al-qadea annexes the country and uses it as a base to launch attacks on Israel and the west. Remember what happened the last time they controlled a country and had a safe-haven from which to plan and launch attacks? Answer: Afghanistan, UBL, the taliban, and 9/11.

Frank
"If Democrats succeed in making this war a failure"?????????????????????

Huh???

"Democrats"??

Who has been in power since 2000? Who started this war? Who has had control of Congress? Who has refused to even look at changing ANYTHING before LOSING A MAJOR ELECTION?

Who has refused to listen to the military from the very beginning?

Who said two weeks, or so, before the election that "all is well", that "we are winning"?

What happened to change that??

THE VOICE OF THE PEOPLE!

Now, you spin and blame the DEMOCRATS??

Has everyone lost their mind?

The group that was going to "bring accountability". The group that proclaims "personal responsibility". The group that once claimed to be "hard headed realists" -- not "fuzzy thinking liberals" -- they, after having almost unprecedented power, will now blame the opposition they laughed at for over five years for mistakes that took all that time to "ripen".

Now, TWO DAYS after taking over Congress -- "it's all their fault, mommy -- it's the bad DEMOCRATS."

You wonder why we are falling apart?? These men, seduced by a magical ideology, now want to absolve themselves from all responsibility for their actions! The actions they allowed no oversight on. The actions that seem to have always had a major political component. Actions that were crafted for appearance -- with no care about the reality of the situation.

It is as if the "we are winning" would become "true" if it were repeated enough. That might work for "pundits", who can tell lies until people actually believe them -- but where real stuff is happening, where people actually fight and die -- spin is NOT enough.

To blame the Democratsfor a loss that has already happened, for a loss that took years of mismanagement, on those not in power at the time, is beyond "spin" -- it's criminal.

By the way Frank -- who brought "al-qadea" INTO Iraq?? WE DID!!

Who destroyed one of the only secular nations in that part of the world??

WE DID!!

Who destabilized the area far more than it was before??

WE DID!!

Who decided on this "war of choice", tha was fought for no real reason??

The REPUBLICANS -- esp. G.W. Bush & Co.

"The Democrats"???

"Hard headed realists" -------- right.

My poor country -- to be in the hands of these fools.

I wouldnt say Im hardline on the right but part of the problem with both sides is that we need to stop trying to place blame somewhere and just figure out a solution. Sometimes politicians start to relive their childhood with crying who is right and who is wrong. It would be nice for an independant to step in and say, "lets work together folks," and only have one agenda, fixing it. Lets hope that Bush and the dems will work together and come up with a sensible solution to getting Iraq back on its feet and on its own. No one likes war but stepping out right now is definately not the solution.

Try proving that Nancy, Murtha, Kerry, Rangel, et. al. want us to succeed.

Sorry, can't be done.
