These guys are ready to take over.

Iraqi soldiers bit the heads off frogs and ate the heart of a rabbit as signs of courage on Wednesday at a ceremony to transfer Najaf province, home to one of Shi'ite Islam's holiest shrines, from U.S. to Iraqi control.

Now, now, you wouldn't be criticizing people because they have different religious beliefs, ethnic customs, and traditions as you?

I do thank you for highlighting a couple of good reasons why they are closer to being able to take over though:

I'm glad that they are both displaying courage and making progress. I personally do not care what their various customs are and I won't pretend to understand them--or make fun of them. I don't care how they do it as long as they keep taking control of more and more provinces. I'm pretty sure that is the objective.

There are 2 other provinces that have already been handed over to Iraqi control. This one makes 3. That sounds like progress in the right direction to me. I don't understand why people aren't willing to admit when there is progress.
