Wont take any action
I am just curious, I am from a small town in East Texas, but have been staying in Dallas for the past couple of months, I got a phone call today from a friend of mine letting me know that my two cattahoulas had been shot behind the barn sometime last night. He goes and checks on them every morning and afternoon and when he went this morning he said that they and two goats that belonged to one of the girls had been shot. I asked campus security what could be done and they said nothing, and the county agreed with them. I know there is nothing I can do for my dogs now, but is there nothing that can legally be done? I guess my next step is to find a couple of replacements, heeler or cattahoula.

you should investigate the possibilty of filing the complaint as damaged property, doesn't due justice to the animals, but maybe the locals will at least due something "if" they find who did it...
