Locked Threads

I've never seen so many threads being locked in the 5 + years I've been a member here.

The funny thing is, most of the locking of threads has happened since the election and some of the so called "conservatives" here will no longer be in the majority party.

I can understand how this might be very unsettling to some of you. I've noticed there are some members who have become quite silent since the election didn't turn out the way they had hoped.

For the most part we managed to carry on fairly civil arguments prior to the election while some of us who were not enamoured by the Bush policies and the Republican Culture of Corruption pointed out the inept and unethical behavior that led to their defeat in the last election.

It appears there are quite a few here who were very good at "dishing it out" when their people were in charge but now that the shoe is on the other foot these same people are not doing very good at "taking it."

So now when the going gets too tough someone calls for a moderator to lock the thread. And it seems they are all too happy to oblige.

Funny how things like that work...isn't it?

Around here we say..."the sun don't shine on the same dog's ass all the time."

Unhappy

<s>I don't get your point of the post?

I thought it would be an intelligent discussion about the number of locked threads, but instead it appears to be nothing less than a means to point fingers all the while saying it's all "their" fault.
</s>

I missed the tongue-in-cheek humor here. Comment withdrawn.

It's quite simple, really...
If you vote for Obama, you are a fu*king idiot.
If you vote for McCain, you are a fu*king idiot.
If your vote is for the lessor of two evils, then you can be comforted knowing that you're less of a fu*king idiot than the other guy!

Your post serves absolutely no purpose but to attempt to instill animosity amongst forum members and should be removed - or better yet - should earn you the "TROLL" label.

Get a life...

calling someone with thousand of post and a financial supported to this site a "Troll" from someone who has 112 post and no contributions...

...not defending his point of view or comment, but please all just ignore it...
