NRS 202.275 Possession, manufacture or disposition of short-barreled rifle or short-barreled shotgun: Penalty; exceptions.

1. Except as otherwise provided in subsection 3, a person who knowingly or willfully possesses, manufactures or disposes of any short-barreled rifle or short-barreled shotgun is guilty of a category D felony and shall be punished as provided in NRS 193.130.

2. For purposes of this section:

(a) “Short-barreled rifle” means:

(1) A rifle having one or more barrels less than 16 inches in length; or

(2) Any weapon made from a rifle, whether by alteration, modification or other means, with an overall length of less than 26 inches.

(b) “Short-barreled shotgun” means:

(1) A shotgun having one or more barrels less than 18 inches in length; or

(2) Any weapon made from a shotgun, whether by alteration, modification or other means, with an overall length of less than 26 inches.

3. This section does not prohibit:

(a) The possession or use of any short-barreled rifle or short-barreled shotgun by any peace officer when authorized to do so in the performance of official duties;

(b) The possession of any short-barreled rifle or short-barreled shotgun by a person who is licensed as a firearms importer, manufacturer, collector or dealer by the United States Department of the Treasury, or by a person to whom such a rifle or shotgun is registered with the United States Department of the Treasury; or

(c) The possession of any short-barreled rifle or short-barreled shotgun that has been determined to be a collector’s item pursuant to 26 U.S.C. Chapter 53 or a curio or relic pursuant to 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44.

There's no mention of a residency requirement.

Screw big cities and their bull$hit ordinances. Drop a nuke on any U.S. major city for all I care. You won't see me ever again stuffing dollars in the fireman's boot at my County Fair to rebuild these liberal, socialist $hitholes after their next big disaster. This is exactly why I quit spending my $1,000,000 a year I.T. budget for new computer servers at CDW in Chicago. I am not sending one frickin' nickle of tax revenue to the city of Chicago. I boycott all of these bigger cities in every way possible. Including vacationing. I quit going to Vegas years ago.

I would rather get in my car, drive down to Florida, grab a case of beer and lounge on an Airboat in the St. Johns river, eating gator tail with my XD-45 strapped on my hip, enjoying my CCW reciprocity liberties that old Jeb affords me.

There, I feel better, now.

Yeah, the post about Vegas got me smokin' mad. These cities solution for everything is to outlaw it. Trans-Fats, guns, Foie Gras, you name it. They pass their laws, get their ways, then some A-Hole like Bloomberg sends a delegation to Pennsylvania to lobby for tougher laws in a state that he doesn't even live in, because he thinks tons of illegal guns are flowing from PA to New York City. Gee, I live in Ohio, right next to PA, and we don't see tons of illegal guns flowing into Ohio from PA. Reason being, guns are legal here, so we don't need them. Proof being, that if you outlaw them, they will get them somewhere else. Bloomberg needs to deal with the real problems in his city. Maybe a sterilization program would be better suited?

We are all sitting around watching this country become more and more socialist. College kids are walking around wearing their Viva La Che' T-shirts and idolizing commies. It gets worse and worse every year, but no one seems to care. Can't wait to see what the future holds for my kids.
