Are you taking lessons from Tom...?
I have a theory (unsubstantiated of course) that bd and tom are actually the same person.

... very interesting. Kind of like a government plant to see which way the gun community is leading? Flush out any nut cases... I get it.

Gee, those are really nice sentiments. So civilized and kind.

My only question is -- Where were they when the Republicans were in the catbird seat? Where were they when Republicans fell all over themselves beating down any Democrat who dared stick his (or her) head above the barricade? How many gratuitous attacks were made against Dems?

We haven't even attacked yet -- and the girly-man Republicans have started whining.

Now it's all about "principle", "working together". If a Democrat dared say that -- they were lauged at, beaten down, accused of being "traitors", "communists", etc.

If we stood up for The Bill of Rights" -- we were ridiculed as "un-American".

Comeon guys -- be men about it. The PEOPLE have spoken. This is a bigger victory in percentage of total vote than any one "W" had.

He had the nerve to call his razor thin victory a "mandate" -- what would you expect the Dems to do?

Heck if you had won the same way -- you would already be sending people away as "terrorists". It would be a "glorious victory" for your "glorious leader".

As it is, the best you can do is whine and tell each other "it's not that important".

It most likely is NOT that important -- and still the very thought the Democrats just MIGHT do to you what you would have done to them has you frightened beyond belief.

We are not going to do that (more's the pity) simply because we honor and believe in the heritage of America, the promise of America, the legacy of this unique and amazing experiment.

I believe the "girly man Republicans" (of which I am not one...I am not Republican, either) are more worried, because the Democrats seem ot have no plans.

Come on now, you have to admit that Kerry's only true appeal in 04 was "I am not Bush" and that was it. There was simply nothing appealing or promising from that man.

Then Howard Dean took over the DNC and they still looked as if they had no plans other than "we're not Bush...we did not support Iraq..vote for us" and that was it.

The hatred for conservatives and centrist ideals by Dean worries many of us. The man comes from a state that's only industry is maple syrup...what could he possibly know about leading a country with large industries like the United States?

Again..what will the Democrats bring forth? Where is their big plan to make it all better? What right now, is so terrible about the US economy that needs fixing?

Its their lack of plans and thirst for revenge that worries me the most.

The Reps may have squandered their 12 year run by getting "Stuck in Iraq", focusing on banning gay marriage, growong govt and ignoring the border, but simply replacing all the R's with D's really didn't seem to me the be-all, end-all plan.

(oh, an I never called Democrats communists...they're not communists, but socialists...big difference)

Exactly what and when has Ken said any hateful comments toward homosexuals? Bd, if you can't answer these questions, then it's just another worthless post...except for the subsequent pictures, of course

As Chairman of the Republican Party is he not ultimately responsible for any anti-homosexual policies the Republicans had?

Oh, I forgot, putting "responsible" and "Republican" in the same sentence just doesn't work, does it?

How about answering that question?

So you are trying to spin away from answering a very direct & simple question. We are waiting. Where's the answer? I should have guessed that it was another worthless Bd post. Don't worry Bd, soon someone will furnish you with your next opinion. Let's hope the next drink of kool-aid comes with some backup so you aren't left standing there looking like an ass - like you are here.

If you are capable of finding the Republican Party's stances on homsexuality then you should find what Mehlman's stance is - officially. But his personal stance may be different.

That would not be at all unusual to have to or more stances in the Republican party because of rampant hypocrisy and flip-flopping with the wind.

Do you need any more questions answered?

I don't know if anyone has said this already or not, but if you are a "gay homosexual".... doesn't that make you straight? Just food for thought.
