What, you afraid of a time-honored Democratic Party strategy being used against themselves? Let us not forget which party supporters it was that wrote up fake 30-year-old documents and faxed them to CBS but were incompetent enough to have used Microsoft Word to create them. Sell crazy someplace else.

Oh please, the government is not interested in your tee times, family updates, or Aunt Judy's holiday recipes. Get a grip.

No thanks. I'll vote for anyone who I agree with. But you've got to have a plan. Something I can look at and decide if I agree. If its "lets wait and see what the reps do" your not getting my vote.
What is the Republicans' plan other than "stay the course"?

No, of course not. That would have meant we were done some time ago. It's to create a flourishing democracy in a region that wants nothing to do with our way of life. Yes, the Iraqis voted at their polls. But they have also been allowing the civil strife and insurgents, and even assisting in both. If they're not willing to step up and take on the challenge or they are not interested in doing so, we can't force them to be a flourishing democracy.

To make matters worse, we have set this goal down in front of the world and the insurgents / terrorists just need to "stay the course" to win and, presently, we are forced to "stay the course" at any cost to prevent ourselves from losing.

I wouldnt care if it was a split congress/senate. Maybe **** would actually get done instead of the dems yelling "YOU IDIOT" and the pubs laughing at them.

OK - I see where you're headed with this. I'm glad you indicated it was a bit over the top. Now, if we were in a truly "despotic" environment, you would be headed to a "reeducation" camp, to suffer all the slings and outrages you imply we're doing to the detainees in Gitmo.

If you want out of Iraq, you have to vote for the candidate that promises to get us out. So far, I have yet to hear one candidate, from either party, lay that one on the line. All the talk is about how the other guy doesn't have a plan - Dems vs. Reps. Do you really think any of these fools have a plan to make this happen, without another helo extract from atop the American Embassy (as in Hanoi, 1975)? The mess over there won't be solved by simply pulling the troops out, at least that's what I think. I don't have an answer - but I'm sure the "cut and run" approach won't work.

Line up sheeple.

Looks like there was never an "October Surprise" by the Republicans, as you seem to be predicting here.

You must have been disappointed, bd.

Disappointed that the Democrats have taken over both houses from the Republican Culture of Corruption...?

Any decent American should be thrilled as I'm sure you are.

If it makes you feel better to compare the Democrats who haven't held a majority in 10-12 years with the recently throttled Culture of Corruption - go ahead, it makes your case that you are "impartial" so much more believeable......
