Bush answering a yes or no question.

What is it with politicians? I just want to reach out and smack them when they dance around(clumsily) the question and don't answer it.

When did the 9/11 commission become the 911 commission?

"If someone knows something about a potentional attack we need too...too... Ask that person some questions"

I never laughed so hard in my life.. Ask that person some questions... What stops you from "asking questions" now Mr. President?

He actually gave an answer at the very beginning...he basically said he wasn't going to comment on the question - or I believe his wording was "I'm not going to comment on other comments."

With that said, one of my criticisms of Bush is that he is a poor communicator in so many ways. His speaking skills are horrible. He is not savvy at all with respect to handling the press, which hates him.

Ronald Reagan had strong convictions and the press hated him too. Yet he was able to use them despite their hate, and he eventually developed a love / hate relationship that was somewhat entertaining to watch.

Actually, I find the relationship between GWB and the press quite entertaining. Watch the press froth at the mouth everytime GWB is mentioned in any possibly positive way. Look at the neat ways they've found to show the most unflattering pictures of GWB and anyone associated with his policies or administration.

Now take a look at how they show off the Clintons. Both are always shown with a big smile or, if the story demand it, a determined look on their face.

Can you say SPIN? Our liberal press has sunk it to a "low" art form. I can't think of many mullet wrappers that are worth the time it takes to read them. As for broadcast media news - ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, PBS - now, there's really balanced coverage. FOX isn't much better.

Almost makes you want to start watching the Born Again channels......

It's not his plan... It's the plan of the "Project for the New American Century"... Google it.

Excuse me but Bush is NOT the first politician that has had this inability to answer direct questions. Ever seen Hillary interviewed? Holy crap....she NEVER answers a direct question. Remember Jonh Kerry during the debates? I have never seen such dodging.

This is nothing new and both sides of the aisle have a real problem with answering direct questions. No need ot act so surprised when Dubya does it...he's simply following a long line of DC insiders in their inability to answer the most simple of yes/no questions.
