gas hits $2.38? It's been below $2.38 here for probably 2-3 weeks. I just paid $2.12 a gallon for regular unleaded the other day. It's down to $2.11 and probably going to be lower tomorrow. That's in Omaha, NE. I heard in Council Bluffs, IA just across the river from us, that gas is $1.99.

Gas has dropped probably 80 cents a gallon in September here. I love it! I try to drive my explorer as little as possible, as my girlfriends civic gets twice the gas mileage of my vehicle. Even with lower gas prices I still do that, but it really helps me out when I have to drive mine. Financially I cannot afford a better gas mileage vehicle and probably won't be able to for several years. these high prices are killing my wallet. I wait for the return of at least $1.50 a gallon.

Venezuela pays about 20 cents a gallon for gas. In fact, their gas is so cheap that they virtually give it away. They trade gas for medical professionals. Then they don't charge poor people to see these medical professionals, or even for the medication they receive. I hate to say it, but as great as our country is, and as big of a POS people like chavez and some other leaders are, sometimes it just seems like the small people in other countries matter more when it comes to some things.

I'd rather shake a few $1 bills at them, than a stick.

How many investigations have there been into fuel prices? How many have ever found anything? 0 that I've heard of. You guys better find something new to complain about. Or better yet just admit you hate the president and quite coming up with silly reasons to hate him.

+1 I don't know how many posts I read where folks regurgitate the "I hate Bush line of the day" or post some random article filled with negative biased without any thought into what they're actually saying. The same was true during the Clinton era as well. If they hate the guy, that's fine. But folks should avoid blindly following some token criticism handed out and then posting it as yet another reason to support their position.

You pay for gasoline. Maybe not directly, but you pay for it nonetheless.
No. I may pay indirectly for oil, but not for gas. I havent bought a gallon of gas since the end of June.

Tommy's rubbed off on you. I don't hate the president. I just think he sucks.
