Exclamation Very interesting article

http://www.rollingstone.com/news/sto...lection_stolen

No matter what your political persuasion, it's hard to argue with many of the facts, statistics and conclusions within, including interesting questions with no answer like:
Quote:
Ohio, like several other states, had an initiative on the ballot in 2004 to outlaw gay marriage. Statewide, the measure proved far more popular than Bush, besting the president by 470,000 votes. But in six of the twelve suspect counties -- as well as in six other small counties in central Ohio -- Bush outpolled the ban on same-sex unions by 16,132 votes. To trust the official tally, in other words, you must believe that thousands of rural Ohioans voted for both President Bush and gay marriage. (195)

The Democrats have tried to stuff the ballot boxes in 2000 and 2004 in Ohio. And they will try again this year. The outside money is pouring into Ohio from Leftist extremists. The idea is to challenge, sue, challenge, sue until the it goes their way.

You have some evidence to support this accusation?

It is nice to see it documented well, but it is a little late. It's hardly news..
I suppose it is another step towards people realizing how the Administration tips the scales as any "good" business organization would do and maybe, just maybe people will catch on that the Administration is corrupt and dishonest and abuses religion to manipulate well-meaning people of faith. The problem with faith is that it doesn't require proof, so I'm not very confident many people will be convinced.

I cynically think those that would be convinced already knew the election was tipped and those who didn't know won't bother with the truth because it is ugly and doesn't fit with their worldview. Such people are not to be bothered with evidence that doesn't suit their tastes.

I'm no expert on politics, and haven't read any of Rolling Stone's articles, but in my opinion, Rolling Stone Magazine seems about as good of a source for political news as some of our outspoken, charasmatic actors, i.e. Sean Penn.

Then how on earth do you think you're entitled to an opinion on the subject?

I live in Ohio; I see what the Democrat political machine uses to figuratively “stuff” the ballot box when they lose.

First the voting machines are too archaic.
Then the new, modern voting machine software is flawed.
Then the new, modern voting machine hardware is flawed.
Then the ballot box manufacturers are declared crooks and Republican stooges.
Then the election workers are not sufficiently trained.
Then it’s “too difficult to register”.
Then the requirement to have an ID to vote is racist.
Then “no one knows how to fill out an absentee ballot”.
Then there are not enough buses to drive Democrats to the polls.
Then since the Secretary of State is Republican then the vote results had to be bogus.
Then the race card is played repeatedly.

When a ninnyhammer Democrat wins, all is silent.

I’m hoping for a real noisy November.

OMG somebody stole the election in Ohio. Who would have thunk it? With all those honest politicos like Bob Taft, Tom Noe, and Bob Ney you'd think their elections would be squeaky clean (not).
