This is pretty predictable for a lame duck president and Bush is getting real lame real fast. The bad part about it for the Repubs is that most of the time a lame duck can help out his party by campaigning for them. Most Repubs running for office now consider a Bush endorsement a "kiss of death." Many will use this non-support of the President as a positive thing in their campaigns.

Hey, that looks real familiar.

Which is why I am registered as an independent. Sure, independents get screwed in the primaries, but I still vote for who I want in office. Counted or not at least I get my say. When will they wake up and accept the votes cast by the public for whomever rather than for this party or that.
