Osama on the "back burner" as far as Bush is concerned...

This is truly amazing...

I take the comments as terrorism overall is a priority, not the capture of of just one guy. The capture of Bin Laden is part of the big picture; Bin Laden is not the big picture.

Should getting rid of Osama be less of priority than getting rid of Saddam? Who presented or presents the greater danger to our security?

You are asking what pimple to pop. As far as I am concerned, one has been popped, the other will be popped soon. Once that second is popped, we start scouring the back of the earth looking for the next whitehead to show itself.

We are multitasking.

We should have ordered our troops to kick Sadaam back in his hole then? Sure, it wasn't his turn. Bin Laden first, then Sadaam.

If you truly believe that Osama is put on the "back burner", why isn't he prancing his candy-ass around the Afgan villages or waltzing around Baghdad?

I think UBL will get what is coming to him. However leaving him out there might actually allow us to track more of his methods etc than bringing him in.

But that secret, sort of... Don't believe what you read rather read between the lines. The media will do anything to make bush look bad at this point.

Hey Mark S., how is Osama a danger to our security now?

You need Osama on the loose so the gun-grabbing Democrats can use him as a campaign slogan. "Elect Me so I can get Osama!"

That will bring the gun-grabbing Democrat votes for sure.

LOL....sounds like Tom. "The media, the media". What about Bush (or anyone's) representation of themself?

I keep hearing about the "liberal media", but when I pick up a newspaper, or watch the news on TV or listen on the radio, somehow I can determine for myself what is news and what is opinion. I would have thought any adult could do the same.

Peace,
D.

He is on the back burner because we know exactly where he is but nobody in our in legislative or executive branches has the guts to go get him.

I know where he is, do you?
