Remember that next time you decide to do something stupid.

Imagine what will happen if you do something really big and stupid.

Hezbollah Head Didn't Foresee Such a War
Aug 27, 1:29 PM (ET)

By ZEINA KARAM

BEIRUT, Lebanon (AP) - Hezbollah leader Sheik Hassan Nasrallah said Sunday that he would not have ordered the capture of two Israeli soldiers if he had known it would lead to such a war.

Hezbollah guerrillas killed three Israeli soldiers and seized two more in a cross-border raid July 12, which sparked 34 days of fighting that ended Aug. 14.

"We did not think, even 1 percent, that the capture would lead to a war at this time and of this magnitude. You ask me, if I had known on July 11 ... that the operation would lead to such a war, would I do it? I say no, absolutely not," he said in an interview with Lebanon's New TV station.

That group is better off today then they were before the war.. They have more support across the world since lebonon was attacked then they did prior to being invaded...

Same w/ the Iraq war... The terrorists support the Iraq war since it makes our country look like we are doing the christan crusades all over again...

I have to disagree with your signature. We do not live in a democracy. We live in a republic. There is a difference.

The U.S. is a democratic republic. It is a republic in that a group of people govern the entire country, but it is also democracy since the citizens elect those who govern them. Although it would be impracticle for a large nation like the U.S. to be a pure democracy, the concept that the citizens guide the government is still there, they just don't vote on laws directly.

Republic = Representative Democracy
A full-on democracy, in which everyone votes on every decision is difficult on even a very small scale. It is impossible for our entire country to be run like that. The term democracy, when applied to a country, generally implies a representative democracy, otherwise known as a republic.
