New Orleans Mayor Takes Swipe At NYC

Quote:
On a tour of the decimated Ninth Ward, Nagin tells Pitts the city has removed most of the debris from public property and it’s mainly private land that’s still affected – areas that can’t be cleaned without the owners' permission. But when Pitts points to flood-damaged cars in the street and a house washed partially into the street, the mayor shoots back. "That’s alright. You guys in New York can’t get a hole in the ground fixed and it’s five years later. So let’s be fair."
Classy!

"Because a bunch of other Jackasses keep voting for him."

This is the same joker that made the "chocolate city" all-inclusive comment and left a parking lot full of flooded school busses in the water while the chocolate people stood in the floodwaters. Classic!

You would think the people of New Orleans would deserve better, but they'd rather point a finger at Bush or FEMA and give ol' Nagin another shot at mayor. Hurts the head to think about it...really.
