Who the hell are these guy's? I work security for a welding company. Lot's of Mexican workers there. Mexican American and illegals. One of my jobs is keeping track of everyone's time worked. The company figured out after ten years that if they let anyone punch in before a quarter till 5:00 the clock paid them from 4:30. Punch in at 16 minutes to 5:00 and your pay starts at 4:30. Boy did the Mexicans get pissed when I was told not to let anyone punch in before quarter till anymore. That starts their time at 5:00 which is when they start work. They got use to it. No free ride anymore. Now some of the little Peckerwoods are getting off at 2:30 and coming out to the guard shack (code word) and wanting to lounge around till 3:00 then punch out. I won't let them do this and tell them they have to punch out when they get to the guard shack. This pisses them off and one of them comes up to me and say's I have an attitude. I say OK, watch this, and I call the production foreman and tell him what's going on. He's Mexican American and tomorrow he's going to kick some ass. He loves docking their pay when they punch out early and he don't like them cheating the clock any other way.

They have a one minute rule there. Punch out at 29 after and you get paid in full. You punch out at 28 after and you get paid till 15 after. You'd be surprised at how many of the Mexicans can't wait till 29 after. I love punching them out early. I get as many as I can. They lose 15 minutes of pay a day and they don't care.

I can't even leave my water mug in the guard shack. They will steal it. Leave a candy bar in the frig and they will steal it. Hey no big deal just another day in the life of the fatman.

Now on the other hand the company I work for and the company I contract through won't even give this Vietnam era veteran any benefits. No holidays off with pay, no insurance, no nothing. The illegals get American holidays off with pay and insurance but I don't. Now that pisses me off. Now you know why I hate **** eating politicians.

At least they are somewhat on time. The illegals/Mexicans that work for my company are lazy f*cks that are an hour late most of the time. They'll say that they will work late but seem to roll up as soon as my truck leaves the site. Lazy, good-for-nothing, c-suckers.

Isn't it against the law to hire illegals? I am all for deportation of illegals, ANY kind of illegals not just Mexicans. It seems like there is a problem with work ethics in your company but does it really matter that they are Mexican? You say that the foreman is Mexican-American and he seems to have a good no-nonsense business mind. I say its time to start unleashing the whip whether they are Mexican, white, African, or any other nationality. I say quit hiring illegals period. I do agree with you about the benefits though, it is really sad that they get benefits and someone who has put their lifes on the line to defend our freedoms and our way of life get nothing.

Any takers? Out in the plant there's mostly (120+-) Mexican workers. Bout 20 white people and three blacks. The company does not give their workers raises anymore. Not for about 5 years. I like it there but without any benefits they can go blow when I find another job. I'm doing my part. Since I have been there they won't hire anybody without proper ID anymore and I'm the one who copies that info so I'm in the know. This place is so far out in the woods even the trees won't grow there. It's going to be the next new industrial site around Houston. All I gotta do is hang out and work will come around. Definitely going to trade my outhouse for a real bathroom. They have a real bathroom in the guard shack. It's 10 years old (brand new) and never been hooked up. To weird. Oh yeah, the owners kid came back to work for the company last week. He was fired today.
