Coulter endorses fragging retired combat veterans. She humiliates the widows of the 9-11 tragedy. She doesn't even know where her voter precint is.

John Stossels books would be way over the head of Coulter's fans.

I have seen her before on Bill Maher's program, but I didn't mind her there, because the blather spewing from the other 3 leftists mouths was so much more outrageous, she seemed fairly normal but I don't know if I want Ann Coulter as any sort of spokesperson for real consevatives in this country.

No, I have not read any of her books, but have read enough of her columns to know she rarely has anything constructive to say. There are better writers for the conservatives than her. Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, John Stossel and Bernard Goldberg come to mind as much more calm and level-headed than Ann Coulter. She's just a sh*t stirrer and I don't like sh*t stirrers on either side of the aisle. They make the conservative movement seem shrill and emotional and crazy...like the leftists!

Want to pick up a good book? Try John Stossel's latest. I am in the middle of that book right now and its fascinating. At least when Stossel presents his opinion on findings or busts a common preception, he has footnotes to back it up. Coulter is just mouthy blather and nothing more. I am tired of that crap...it gets us nowhere.

PS: you want conservative funny? Try P. J. O'Rourke...he's much better at that game.

If you haven't read any of her books.. you really should. She writes a kind of fact based satire that I am sure you would appreciate.

The thing the lefties.. and people like you who don't read her.. miss, is that her books are filled with ironies that the left simply cannot attack. They tell her she can't say it.. so she says it. Truisms that cannot be argued are her pallet, the left is her canvass.. and she paints quite an extraordinary picture.

Give the book a try.

I have not read the current book of hers, but I have seen her speak about it with opposition commentators.

The thing I find funny is that she has received almost no criticism for the central theme of the book, that Liberalism is the God of the left. It is government sanctioned and paid for. The same folks that constantly say "Get God out of Government" are the ones that bow the the 'god" of liberalism and fund it with each new appropriations bill. What they really mean is "Get YOUR God out of Government."

She steps on toes and does it with sarcasm. That hurts.

You regurgitate the nonsense that others use that have no clue what she is talking about.

Please provide documentation for these statements (New York Times does not qualify as documentation).

It is similiar to the fact that just because it is on the WWW does not make it fact.

And another endorsement that convinces me that Godless must be a great book....the more the Bush-haters and liberal extremists attack her the more important it becomes that this book be read by everyone.

I've got one of her books. She can be too venimous in her attacks, which causes her points to be lost in the noise. She's a smart gal and I agree with many of her points. But in the book I read (title escapes me), she focused too much on McCarthy. It became boring.

In her interviews / debates, she would do much better if she could get rid of that nervous laugh. It gets to be pretty annoying.

Lastly, EAT A DAMN BURGER or 2. The woman would be pretty if she had some meat on her bones. You see pictures of her shooting, she's conservative, intelligent,...but just too damn skinny. Yes, I know - a shallow comment; but I had to say it.

I have to agree with some others on this thread Brickboy; if you haven't read one of her books, you need to. I have not read the new book but have read some of the other ones and found them enjoyable.

She probably has good points but they all seem to come on the point of a spear. I think she needs to tone it down a knotch, instead of trying to be so controversial.
