Lung cancer, of course, is the one most commonly caused by smoking, but there are several other types of cancer that smokers are more likely to get than non-smokers:

Don't forget, smoking is a major risk factor for heart disease also.

Truth is anybody can get cancer. This website also says second hand smoke causes cancer. That's nothing but an outright lie. There is no proof of any kind to support that.

You're right, anybody can get cancer. Genetics plays a large role....that's why there are some people who smoke 2 packs a day that never develop cancer, and some people who have never smoked yet develop lung cancer. However, there are things that will significantly increase your chances of developing cancer, like smoking.

Hey One Eye,

If you want to quit smoking, I can help. You just pay my airfare down there, I will bring my own shovel. I will be your shadow, each time I see you even reach for a smoke, I'll hit you in the head with the shovel. No more Smoking for you. Think of all the money you will save when you get out of the hospital. Of course you will need that money as you will probably have lost your job.

p.s. - before I start this service for you and your health, you need to give me all your guns and fry pans.

This thread really isn't about quitting smoking it's about the next con job that won't help you quit smoking. It's just another money making scheme.

I can't believe how brainwashed and unknowledgeable people are about cancer. Cigarette's have little and a lot of times nothing to do with different cancers.
