The Minute Men havee the right idea.
What I would do is hand out night vision goggles and tell them if they see
Illegals comming across to 1.) fire a warning shot and if they don't heed
that then 2.) Shoot to kill.
An invasion is an Invasion.
May be harsh but a 75 cent bullet makes for an effective deterent.
Why not instead of comming here why don't they rise up aginst their
corrupt system and replace it with something better?

Two things piss me off:

1. The statement that says "these people do jobs Americans won't do". BULL****.

2. "This is OUR land, you stole it". WTF?

According to statistics (I wish I had the link, but this came from Time Magazine...I think) in 1980, there were 3 million illegals in the USA - in 2005, there were 12 million illegals.

Now, a favorite argument is "they're doing jobs Americans won't do"

I call BS on this. I can remember (seeing that I am 40 years old) back before 1980...when there weren't so many illegals...the lawns got mowed, fruit got picked, the bathrooms were cleaned and houses were being built like mad. How did all this happen when we did not have so many illegals?

Don't buy the BS being spewed by the media about "our economy would collapse...they're doing jobs we won't do"

That statement ranks on the same level of the "BS Scale" as "tax cuts for the rich." It simply does not hold water...don't fall for it.

Another piece of misinformation being tossed about is..."this is a nation of immigrants"

True, but NOT a nation of illegal immigrants. Notice how the Mexican flag waivers tend to LEAVE OFF that very important word. The illegal supporters are comparing the illegal border crossers/moochers of today with the Ellis Island immigrants form Europe. Not a fair comparison at all...don't fall for this other piece of enormous BS. Are the Italian, Polish, Dutch and Hungarian immigrants that came through Ellis Island not paying taxes, enjoying free healthcare and speaking their own language today? Of course not. They're also not in the streets waiving their country's flags, either..demanding continuance of the free ride.

The local talk show host had a good point yesterday. He quoted the same idea that people keep saying if it weren't for illegals we wouldn't have cheap hamburgers etc etc. Anyway he noted a Harvard study that found illegals make up like 4.9% of the workforce. How bad off would we be if 5% of the workforce went away? would many notice?

Thats 5% of the workforce that we actually know about. The fact is that illegals fly below the radar and we're not sure how many ARE REALLY employed doing what. Its an estimate at best. I guarantee you its alot higher.

The thing that distinguishes these immigrants from those in the past is the lack of legal immigration and the over use of our resources and entitlements. Also, alot of money that is earned off the books gets wired directly to Mexico...not spent here on taxes or goods and services here, but US dollars go to Mexican goods and services back in their homeland.

That means that as their population grows, we have a smaller and smaller group of US citizens that are paying for all the freebies and the only way to keep the freebie train chugging along will be to charge those paying into the system more and more.

Everything will continue to go up in price. Sales taxes, income taxes, insurance, medical costs...you name it. All to pay for a large number of folks here that are enjoying benefits but not supporting the system that provides them on a large scale. This WILL affect you, whether you live in Laredo, Texas or Ann Arbor, Michigan.

This is not rocket science folks...real changes need to be made. Popular or not...changes HAVE to be made real real soon!
