I don't know, apparently, Obama feels that talking to them is more significant than a bunch of dead grunts he could give a rat's ass about.

I'll tell you what they think, AZXD.
My former girlfriend was a psychologist with family social services on the Sioux reservation in South Dakota. That is where I got the term "generational rage". Children are born and raised there with a hatred of the whites. Their history is passed down through the generations of lies, deceit, killing, and a general destruction of their way of life.
You have to look no further than the Native American, to understand the Muslim thought process.

My 1/64th Sioux does tend to hate the rest of me.

Yes i do know this as a fact and we can play " I know more Muslims" if you want to I will probably win. For man many years my best friend was a devout Muslim. He still is and we are still great friends. I am npot saying you will not find individuals that you know personally who will not condemn it but The majority don't. Remeber the dancing in the streets of Michigan after 9/11. Dearborn Michigan I think. I have not forgotten it.

Name me 3 Muslim organizations that regularly condemn acts of terror. I will be very suprised if you can.

Does it matter how American Muslims feel? As opposed to the rest of the worlds Muslims.

Yes it does. Muslims have been successfully assimilated into our society. They have become productive members of our nation, and enjoy the same rights. Not so in many European countries where they are social and physically segregated. It makes a difference.
England is a prime example.

I must be missing your point. I don't get how the opinion of one small group of Muslims plays into the argument...damn...I forgot what we are talking about? Maybe that is why I don't see your point. Damn ADD.

I guess the point I'm trying to make is that we tend to paint with too broad a brush on this issue. I condemn all atrocities that are committed in the name of Islam, but it is not Islam that is the problem...It's the bastardization of the religion by extremists.
Western nations by there politics and avarice, are much at fault in creating what we see today, and the attitude we see and hear.

I try not to paint with that brush, but I just never see Muslim leaders stand up and condemn these acts. If I could see just a few of the leaders of the faith in this country or others I could feel a whole lot better about it. I condemn these acts, you condemn them. Why can't the leaders of the faith, why not hold a press conference and get on Fox News and say something simple like "Killing in the name of Islam is wrong".

In reference to the bold, are you saying we created the problem and it is our fault they are doing this? Wow, I totally disagree with this. We will just agree to disagree here. I will not get into this discussion.

I do agree with you on this point, mirage. We don't see enough outrage from leadership, and I don't know why.
