Wow, thankfully I found a 2005 survey by Pew Global that is a bit more comprehensive then just asking around the watercooler.... what you will find is that although most Muslims through-out the world think that terrorist actions are not justifiable that many still do. In some countries, most do.

Islamic Extremism: Common Concern for Muslim and Western Publics: Summary of Findings - Pew Global Attitudes Project

There is a lot of data in the report, check it out.

Percentage of Muslims in these counties that believe violence is sometimes or often justified (these figures do not include those who believe it is justified rarely)...
Lebanon - 39%
Pakistan - 25%
Jordan - 57%

Percentage of Muslims in these countries that support suicide bombings against US and US allies in Iraq...
Morroco - 56%
Jordan - 49%
Lebanon - 49%

Percentage of Muslims in these countries who support Osama bin Laden...
Jordan - 60%
Pakistan - 51%
Indonesia - 35%

I have not checked, but I think you will find that these numbers are higher for Muslims then for other major world religions.

When thinking about the sheer number of Muslims.... thats a lot of people who think violence is justified, suicide bombings are justified and support Osama bin Laden. That's millions and millions of people all over the face of planet folks. Still feel safe and sound?

My water cooler isn't in these countries...It's here. Got any data as to how American Muslims feel?

Where do you think Muslims here in the US come from? They aren't all converts.... do they grow on trees? No. They come from other countries. Like the ones in the report.

According the same research center, 65% of American Muslims were foreign-born and immigrated here from Pakistan, Iran, other Arab nations and South Asia. They estimate there are 2.35 million Muslims here in the US.

The data you are looking for is here:
http://pewresearch.org/assets/pdf/muslim-americans.pdf

Obviously, these numbers are not as high as the Muslims in other countries as I would assume the ones who decide to move here have a more favorable view of the US but much of the data is still startling. Especially that more then half don't believe Arabs caused 9/11 and 75% believe going to Iraq was wrong. For contrast, only 48% believe going to Afghanistan was wrong. Take a look at the differences between the viewpoints of native Muslims and those who immigrated here. The immigrants show much more support for our efforts, having come from the regions themselves.

I won't argue with the numbers. I do believe however that if you've lived in a country were other countries have been meddling in your affairs for decades, you develop a bit of animosity toward those countries.
It becomes "generational rage".

Yeah, that's why they had a poll posted on here recently that Mexican-Americans believe in by-in-large to a loyalty to Mexico above the United States. There's that generational rage for yah.

Absolutely no context here. What the hell does this have to do with my comment?

You were making the ascertion that somehow immigrated muslims, legal, or otherwise feel no cultural or country loyalty to their countires of origin. We have learned from other such populations, that this is not the case.

Pay attention. I was referring to non-immigrants. Read it again.
Maybe I should have said live rather than lived!

Generational Rage implies that there is another generation, which would possibly bring someone to the conlusion that you are referring to emigrants and their descendants.
