It gets old when myself or Etta respond to something honestly and then there is this gang mentality to pile on. Then a certain person pops in to make comments that are clearly meant to be personally demeaning. All of this and this person had the balls to say some pretty insultive stuff about this forum on XDTalk. Kudos to those several members who don't subscribe to the double standard and called him on it and reminded him that he could always go elsewhere. I sure wish he would've heeded the advice. I guess he can't ... UoD must be down or something.

Aside from the fact that there's no more money to spend, no matter how much you Debtocrats seem to think printing is the answer, the burden's on you in this instance. You made the statement. Tell me why you're right. Commence the argument about who the burden's on in...3...2...go!

Tax cuts! Why are you talking about tax cuts, is this the twilight zone? The Federal Deficit is going to be about half of M2 this year and you're going to blame it on tax cuts. Be real for once. Acknowledge that your boy, 0bama asked for a federal budget big enough to make everybody's money worth 2/3rds as much in a years time.

It's easier to just drop it, no need to get all personal back.

They will spend money no matter what. I don't know what will stop them. Just look at the growth of government under both parties. The only president in recent memory who seemed to take the deficit seriously was Clinton. I did not vote for Clinton and was not a fan, so I'm not trying to build him up. I'm just stating facts. Republicans spend the money on defense and wars and give tax cuts to the rich - although they now are getting into the social programs too - like the Medicare prescription drug benefit. Democrats spend it on wars too, but they like to spread the wealth around to the downtrodden. I've been a member of both parties and there's really not much difference between them except for differences in emphasis and the people who make up their bases. |
