As strange as it is to say, government. Private sector gets completely hung up on money, the government SHOULD be non-profit. I believe the private sector completely destroyed access to healthcare in this country. HOWEVER, I don't really trust most current politicians. So it's a horse apiece, but I say government.

Wouldn't buying one made by them be called suicide?

Oh boy...we have another that slept through Economics 101...

The private sector almost always encourages competition. Competition creates better choices...not worse ones.

I don't understand the statement about "the private sector being hung up on money." Guess what...private healthcare providers, liek all privately held businesses exist for one reason...surprise!...to make money. In order to make lots of money, the private sector business has to provide good services and products at a competitive price or some other private business will beat them in the free market. So you could say that by accident, private sector businesses and their "greediness" create better products and services.

This is pretty basic stuff and the engine that basically built the great country you younger people enjoy living in today. It would behove you all to learn how it was built and what will keep it going.

...and what will kill it.

a recent doctor on the east coast selling health club package would disagree with what you said.

He was profitable, and his patients were happy, and prices were low.

Who stopped him?

your precious gubment.

Who enables illegal aliens? The government.

thats an easy 25% increase in costs.

who enables wild lawsuits? the liberal government.

Who hates and demonizes big pharmaceuticals ? The left, of course.

who are the primary non working, fake job, ****fy union, paper pushing retards that make up most of our government labor force? The left.

Who instituted HMOs ? The left.

Who did everything to mess up the best medical care in the world? and then has the gonads to complain the loudest ABOUT WHAT THEY DID! the left!

hmmmm. I wonder why? Could they be completely innept? Closet communists who want failure to usher in communist policy as "the fix" to their designed distasters?

No matter. You are 100 % wrong. The government is hung up on money also. When was the last time an agency fixed a problem and closed shop. Never. They always want more money for doing less, and invent new things to "take on" and make worse, so they can ask for more money next year.

seriously. Where do you get this crap from. Its not based on fact, but your apparent hatred of capitalism.

Just out of curiousity what is it you do for a living? Public sector, or chairty? (i am not asking your income, what field?)

You sound like someone who has never worked an honest day in his entire life. You sound like either someone who never tried cause they knew they would fail, or a resentful failure.

I wouldnt mind hearing about what kind of hack liberal agenda lawyer your pops is. He clearly doesnt work for his money if he wants his taxes increased. No doubt he has never sent in the money he proclaims he wishes he could pay instead of you or folks like you.

Even your last decision is bad. You pick to go with who does not have to answer you. If business doesnt solve a problem or answer a need they go out of business. Government just taxes working folks more. Often along the way making the problem worse. Many decades, many problems, trillions of dollars, and they manage to fix very few problems or even reduce them. Those that they do reduce when you sit down and calculate the unit cost of success it is still piss poor win.

Also...

Name one country with govt run healthcare that is efficeint and well thought of by its inhabitants.

Name any industry or sector that the govt. has gotten into and the results were average to good.

You're going to be looking for a very long time.

I don't admire any South American country's economy in particular. The Chicago Boys were Milton Friedman proteges though.

Do you know anyone that lives in the Netherlands and says great things about their system?

I have several cousins that live in Sweden and they don't have ONE GOOD THING to say about their system. Funny, because all the left holds the Swede model up as some sort of shining example. My cousins laugh at this....no wonder the Europeans think we're so stupid! LOL
