It doesnt matter whether liberal or conservative or any other party. Every EXTREMIST has some mental issues. Going to the exteme with any party ends badly, that is evident througout history. The "victims" in this country are the people who try to work hard every day and live normal happy and successful lives because they seem to be the only ones not screaming "im a victim uncle sam; now give me a free handout". The taxpayers are paying for all of these "free handouts" for the rest of the nation to be lazy and do nothing. Therefore my conclusion is that liberals must have mental disabilities to think that it is right for taxpayers to pay for families of illegals living down the street who are on welfare and who have been reported but are still aloud to live in my town and be on welfare and get free medical care without the hospital being allowed to report to ICE. Now who in their right mind would allow this to be possible. Oh yeah it was the idea of the wonderful liberal governor in my state who apparently is not without mental disorder because he stays in office by playing to the large number of people who do not want to work in this state instead of those who work and pay taxes.
This kind of attitude seems to be pretty common in the liberal world we now live in. So in MHO yea extreme liberals have mental issues, but as i said at the beginning so do all other extremists. The only way for a gov system like our to function properly for the people is to hold them accountable number one and also to have a balance in the middle away from the psychological disorders on the extremes.

What really shocks me is the good Dr. who wrote this received his degrees from the University of Chicago. The U of C is possibly one of the finest educational institutions in the world. I believe they have the most Nobel prize winning professors teaching there compared to any other university. And the University of Chicago is the MOST liberal institution that happens to reside in Hyde Park which is the most LIBERAL neighborhood in the very liberal city of Chicago. (where the Obama's reside also)

It amazes me that the good Dr. got out of there with a conservative view point. Must be a very smart, strong willed person.

Well, Michael Savage went to UC Berkley and that is also known as leftist kook central and he is one of the most conservative people around.

Thomas Sowell is a professor at Berkley as well. He's VERY far from what you'd call a leftist.

The environment might cause some to repel against the leftist craziness...who knows!

OK, let's look at some simple facts. Liberals demonize Conservatives. Conservatives demonize Liberals. We're never going to agree on much of anything. If a liberal is in office, anything said liberal does is wrong to conservatives (so I've noticed with Clinton and Obama). When a conservative is in office, anything said conservative does will be wrong to the liberals. As a general rule, all right OR left wing EXTREMISTS are nuts. You know what, scratch that, all extremists are nuts. Someone claiming to be a respected psychiatrist should know DAMN well that you can't just classify one whole group of millions of people as insane. I'm sure there are liberal shrinks that say the same for Conservatives. Face it, everyone's nuts to somebody.
