I doubt any respectable number of republicans or conservatives of any type would be willing to support a liberal forum like that. Instead there is a free forum in my signature I recommend that you recommend to your liberal friends.

I've emailed the admin team informing them of the actions here and I am sure they will be receptive of opening a new forum specifically for political discussion and debate.

I'd vote Frenchy in as PV mod if he would accept the task but.......

I really must agree with Powerman. The PV was reopened with the warning that it would not be monitored. I opted out several times previously because many comments had become so consistently lame. As so many have stated, people just blathered their bs without regard to oposing points.

Lately things have been better. Granted, a few folks seem to stir the pot a bit only to disapear when inarguable points are brought forth. Others seem to relentlessly stalk the aforementioned. Yet for some reason I can't put my finger on...it was different this time. Most of the instigators seemed a little less whacky to me.

Trig has summed up more good reasons to leave PV open than anyone.

I also beleive that if we as a people can't learn to air our political differences in a "safe" environment such as PV, we are in more trouble than most of us ever imagined.

My personal thanks to all for sharing your opinions, rants, jokes, and thoughts. I will absolutely miss every single one of the members that chose to participate, left, right, and in the middle. There is no doubt this was the absolute best place on the internet to come in, share, debate, learn...and to me, most importantly, laugh on occassion as well as appreciate someone else's opinion.

Thanks for the opportunity and thanks for being great Americans! One Team~One Fight!

I'm not a fan of Glenn Beck. You shouldn't be surprised.

I really FAIL to understand what is the big deal here. We all have opinions... If you don't like what somebody posts, move on to the next one.... This is like playgound BS and, at least I'd hope, we're all grown ups.

This is the US and, free speech is where it all gets solved.... taking that away is BS. This, however is not a democracy on a forum so, it's up to the site owner, however, any site owner who would discourage free thinking individuals to hash out politics.... well, you can finish that sentance.

I actually enjoyed Etta's posts and M roadster and others...... they offered the other side.... I don't have to agree but, I can discuss and debate with them. ( well, I used to be able to )

Now, I'll go somewhere else and do it. Adios, amigos.....

Damn, I really did enjoy this site, till now.

This has me floored for sure.

I too will miss this place greatly, regardless of the personalities, the views were something tough to find elsewhere.

Come for the guns, stay for the politics..
