I will miss this section if it disappears, but at the same time it probably needs, at least, a cooling off period.
If not for the PV topics / addiction and good people, I would have never stayed.

I think this sight is going to be much more boring with out the political forum. Honestly i like to debate and even if things get out of hand sometimes big deal we are all adults, If people cant take insults once in a while so what. Just put a disclaimer on the forum. While i wont argue if you want to close it its dissapointing and i will probably not be around to participate to much anymore on this forum as that was my favorite part.

I have to admit, the only reason I really visited here consistently was because of the PV. There isn't much new elsewhere. Once in a while someone posts a new picture. Very nice, see, move on. Even the "guns and girls" threads is just repost after repost now.

I don't really see how it was getting out of control; but I don't get the post reports, I guess. So be it, your site, your call. Thanks for sticking with it as long as you did.

With the PV and Rep gone we should be able to save on bandwidth and the disk space won't fill up as quickly!

In no way do I blame the mods, I knew this was coming, and I can't say I blame you. However this will affect my donations, and my presence here. Sorry, that's just the way it is, the PV was a main attraction for me.

I'd like to thank those that antagonized until they were attacked personally, then whined to the mods about it, you've succeeded in shutting down the PV. I'd also like to thank those that took the bait again and again, thus aiding them in their goal.

For the life of me I don't get it.

PV was shut down because of the personal battles. Spilled into Chatter box. chatter box was allowed to discuss 2A. Chatter box turned political. PV reopened with a warning that it was not moderated. Yet the complaint has always been there is too much moderation needed. Plenty of folks have voluntteered to help. The PV was made into a special sign in to turn it on. Still unmoderated. Everyone told to grow up. Yet it still need too much moderator time. I don't get it.

If it needs moderation, then moderate it. If more of the pot stirires got time outs and banned then the rest would keep it clean. It's your site, do as you plaese. I have always admired how well this site is run and told you plenty of times. I also told you with my check book and donated for the server. But every time there is problems in PV, your answer is to just shut it down. Seems a little unreasonable.

However, I'm out. I got to hear opposing points of view, from a group of people that had something in common. And that something was important. But now, oh well. See ya. I'm done.
