Well that sucks. Honestly though, I think we'll just see this stuff showing up in the ChatterBox instead. Afterall, that is anything that doesn't fall into another category. Why ban the majority for the few? Whatever you say Chief.

Oh well seems like PV is gone no need to even keep it open if you cant discuss politics if it is something I feel the rest needs to know about 2nd and gun related then I will post it in the chatterbox, though the email idea was a good one there is so much more news and politics out there effecting us eberyday to keep this section only gun info, ohh well we have to respect Kermee and the mods on this because it is their site after all...

Politics is child like anyways people act like children even politicians act like children that is the way it is and keeping this section open would only keep the bickering out of the other sections, but ohh well your site man....

I enjoyed being on this site guys met a lot of good people on here and thank you all for me even knowing you....

To my friends thank you for being my friend to the ones that disagreed with me on things, nothing personal guys, just differences of ideas....

Wow! PV was one of the main reasons I hung around this place and donated $50.00 to the site. I like to read opposing points of view on all topics and the debate that comes along with it. Honestly I didn't think things were out of hand at all compared to most Political forums I've been on this place is slightly more than mild.

Oh well.

I hate to say it, but there never has been much in the way of good gun talk on here. Unless you want to compare XD to Glock for the 2000th time. PV seems to be a large chunk of the action. I gotta say. It is going to be pretty dull around here.

I seldom participate in the PV, but I do come here to get my daily charge from the PV posts and banter. A few people will have absolutely ZERO purpose to be here, since they never talk about guns. Should be interesting.

Honestly, Kermee. I don't blame you. For one quick second tonight, I thought about taking one of my servers and throwing a PHP discussion board up, or even re-configging my vBulletin site and letting it be nothing but PV talk, to take up the slack for this one being gone. Then, I thought about it, and decided I didn't want the hassle and\or Federal Agents at my front door for something that some drunk idiot said about a politican. I really don't blame you. I would be worried about the liability, constantly.

Bingo on all counts. Though I do think the members were pretty conscious about correcting anyone that even thought about crossing the line..... Either way, I disagree with killing the PV, realize it will result in a drop in mature membership (myself included), and I think it will end up with more of this stuff in the chatterbox, but I can't honestly say I don't understand why it was done.

Best of wishes to everyone.

I'll miss it. It's one of only two forums I frequent.
I found XDTalk when I bought my XDm, learned about my gun and would have left had it not been for the PV.
The dissention between sides is good IMO. If someone throws some mud and the other person can't take it, they can just leave. No big deal. Keeping the arguments tucked away in this corner is good.

I think the mods should keep talk of violence out, but let the boys and girls have at it otherwise.

Got to agree with the general sentiment. PV was one of the main reasons I came here daily. I think the PV section did its job, which was to get those topics out of the general chatter forums. People who wanted to read them, could, and those who didn't, didn't have to.

But it certainly is your right to close it if you want. I'm not going to bother arguing about it, you seem to have your mind made up before even bothering to discuss it with the forum. I'll just go to other forums instead.

See you all. It was interesting while it lasted.
