It's not a matter of not having the stomach for it. We've had O Sammy in our sights during the Clinton and Bush administrations. Kind of like a few years back when people kept saying we already got him but were just waiting until just before the election in order to bring him out to help get Bush elected.

Here's one for you though. If Bush could have gotten him leading up to the elections in 2004, don't you think he would have? Why make an election close when you can pull a trump card? Plus, there's always Iran and N. Korea to serve as our "arch enemies."

It's not rocket science, just a matter of thinking things through.

I wonder if Osama would have called for a truce if we would have elected someone who would have been more compasionate towards terrorism and would have asked European opinion before making any decisions?

Yep and the immenent death and destruction of this country didn't happen... They couldn't penatrate security then and they can't now.
