Clooney: I want to thank Jack Abramoff, you know, just because-I--I'm the first one out- lets get this thing rolling. I don't know why. Who would name their kid Jack with the last words "off" at the end of your last name? No wonder that guy is screwed up. Ahh-alright I just got bleeped. Thank you very much...

Now millions of people who do not have a clue about the Abramoff scandal will start asking the question;

Who is Jack Abramoff?

And millions of people will become enlightened to the Republican Culture of Corruption that prevails in Congress and at the Whitehouse.

Clooney is a genius. That's how you use the media.

It's looking worse and worse for the Republicans in the upcoming elections.

The truth may come from odd sources at times, but it always comes out.

Yet when you do the math, and the WORST that could feesably happen, Republicans will keep control of the congress this time around too.

Democrat actions continue to show the Ameircan people how they really feel about them, they think the people are stupid.

Everyone knows who Jack Abramoff is, and nobody needs George Clooney to tell them, nobody cares what he has to say, if they did care, people would listen.

Thats brilliant rhetoric? The jack off comment? Wow, doesn't take much to impress you. George Clooney is hardly a politcal scholar. Doesn't he live in Italy most of the year? Clooney is one in a long list of Hollywood "hit and run" politcal commentators. They make one half-witted remark and split. My guess is that Clooney could not carry on a five minute conversation, explaining his political views.

I'd withhold your hopes of a take-off of "awareness" on the Abramhoff scandal, based on Clooney's witless ravings (of which many Dems took part in, remember?). He sounded like he had been drinking. He's also not very eloquent or very smart.

Why? Well, take a look at how the former rantings of Hollywood blowhards were taken by the public. Outside LA and NYC, theres disdain and contempt for anything political said by Hollywood biggies. The dismal boxoffice receipts show that people are turned off by some of their rantings.

The Abramhoff scandal will (hopefully) show itself all on its own and those involved will be punished. But not because of some detatched Hollywood blowhard's drunken rantings.

Thats nonsense.

The fact is that Clooney, Penn, and the rest of the vocal blowhards would not last five minutes in Iraq, under Hussein's reign. They would not last 5 minutes in Russia, Cuba or some other socialist mecca, either.

They're not very smart either, they are only able to say their typical "drive-by" style of rantings with no back up or proof, meant to whip up their leftist base. Bumper-sticker philosophy. Bono is another classic example. He makes me almost embarrassed to be half Irish.

These people live in fantasy worlds and have everything you and I could only imagine. They do not worry about paying bills, childcare, mowing the lawn and other everyday tasks we have to deal with. Talk about those that live in a bubble. Bush may live in a bubble, but these people live in just as insulated a world as Bush. (but don't you dare call them on it!)

Why anyone listens to these people, quotes them or takes them seriously is beyond me.

I just read an article regarding Sean Penn....He apparently hasn't been able to quite smoking due to the constant pressure of the currentl political climate......ahh poor guy.

BD....why can't you just accept the fact that Congress as a whole is corrupt? I don't believe one side is worse than the other. Both sides have the intellect and honor of Amoebas.

I do accept that fact and I think someone needs to do something about it. Are you satisfied to let it go on?

I think the party who claims to be Conservative Christian Family Values Bring Integrity back to the Whitehouse needs to do something about it because they hold the reigns right now.
