Time for another CEO to bite the dust

Tyco Admits Payments To Abramoff

WASHINGTON, Jan. 6, 2006
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jack Abramoff (GETTY)

(AP) Tyco International, whose former CEO became a symbol of corporate corruption, acknowledged Thursday it is the Jack Abramoff client referred to as "Company A" in court documents describing the lobbyist's scheme to funnel millions of dollars in lobbying fees to himself.

Tyco hired Abramoff in 2003 to lobby for it on a tax issue, said company spokeswoman Sheri Woodruff. She declined to comment further on the New Jersey-based company's relationship with Abramoff or on the lobbyist's activities.

Thank goodness for the President George W. Bush Justice Department or these lawbreakers would be getting way with murder.

Thank You President Bush...Again.

These criminals can run but they can't hide from the long reach of the President George W. Bush Justice Department.

Way to go President Bush!

He took money from Jack Abramoff. He may have to arrest himself as well.

See Spot run. See Spot run after the ball. See George run. See George run from the law. See Spot playfully knock George down. See the law catch George.

Maybe a little off topic....maybe not. It's hard to sort all these crook stories out because they're coming up so fast.

It's being reported now that Republican Senator Randall (Duke) Cunningham did a little undercover work for the Justice Department in order to plea bargain. They are saying he was wearing recording devices.

It's going to be hard to deny, when it's on tape.

(Don't worry, this eavesdropping was legal, a court order was obtained)

It's being reported that Republican Congressional aides are buying Pepto-Bismol by the gallon and "Depends" adult leakproof ( ) underwear by the case for their bosses in D.C. now.

Maybe we need to start a "Culture of Corruption" thread as a catch-all thread for all these investigations going on now instead of spreading them all over the board?????

Can we get a STICKEY...????

Uh-oh...despite the media's attempts to hide it, New York Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton has been caught with contributions from Jack Abramoff. http://www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2...5/125414.shtml
