The trade unions that are part of the AFL-CIO are, therefore, associated with the supporting the Liberal/Democrats who restrict our gun-rights, raise our taxes, fight conservative moral values, etc. etc.

Though union members may be conservative in their personal politics, it means nothing because their union spends and fights for the socialism of the Liberal/Democrats.
Conservative leaning union members appear to be compromising their ideals so they can get more money.

Labor unions, trade unions, AFL-CIO, Teamsters...whatever you want to call them.

The idea behind these groups (like many leftist ideas) is a noble one - I'll give you that, but the actions of these organizations do very little to help those that pay the dues and actually hurt more than they help.

There might have been a stronger need for these organizations many years ago, but they have literally become what they were designed to protect against and in the end, do very little to enhance, protect or advance those at the bottom that pay the dues.
