Since you are so concerned with proper grammar, your sentence should begin with You're (the contraction of You and are), not Your (the possessive). In addition, the correct usage is Too funny, not To funny.

Apparently ieSpell isn't all it's cracked up to be.

I'm still wondering how supplying an article is laughable when you asked for reading material on good news about the economy. I'll be happy to supply articles from American sources if that's what you prefer.

And since you apparently have disregarded the first article, on the grounds of it being "government manure," you still have yet to deal with the article from the Christian Science Monitor, a well-respected independent news source.

mgeoffriau you don't get it do you? It was never about the grammer. Some of the people here don't believe half the American sources and then you come up with British cut and paste. Thanks for the laugh. That was great.

I am not going to disprove her statements, but nowhere in this whine-fest was the stone cold fact that govt. growing out of control and taxing us higher and no govt. accountability for spending or control over its appetite for spending is the culprit for many of our woes.

Its the usual griping about outsourcing and the gap in wages between the CEOs and the worker-bees. This situatiuon will continue from now till the earth stops rotating on it's axis. Theres no way to stop it, without killing our free market society and killing entrepreneural energies in this country. Without making us Eastern Europe.

You can blame this or that...the Republicans or Democrats or whatever boogeyman you want, but the fact remains that if you want to stay alfoat and thrive in this world, one must WORK HARD....be willing to work harder than the guy next to you, and you must educate yourself and continually strive to get the leg-up on your competition and stay afloat in this old world. Yeah...you're gonna have to put your back into it, buddy! Hard work built this country and hard work will keep it afloat...nothing else. If it was easy...there'd be several Bill Gates instead of just one.

Talk of levelling the playing field, punishing the over-achievers and other "evening up" schemes will kill this country. Hard work and self reliance will keep it going. Relying on govt. or standing there with your hand out will put you in the camp with the thrid world or our Eurpoean cousins someday and is not road to happiness or prosperity.

This should be as plain as the nose on one's face. I am a simple, red-state public school graduate and I can figure this out. Its not that difficult.

No, I must admit, I don't really see what's so funny about you asking for and then entirely disregarding material. Do you have some issue with "cut and paste," or is there some other magical way I could have supplied the article for you to read?

Why not just admit that you are not interested in facts, and that it doesn't matter what anyone says, because you are committed to an ideology that demands that a free market cannot work, and therefore any positive news about the economy must be lies?

Someone here doesn't get it, but it's not me. What's ironic is that if you lived in a country that followed your economic ideology consistantly, you wouldn't have the personal wealth to own a personal computer, much less pay for an internet connection, unless you were a high-ranking government official. What you spend your time criticizing is the very thing that allows you the forum in which you speak.

Bottom line: throughout history, it has been repeatedly shown that the most effective way to reward hard work and penalize laziness, and in doing so maintain a fair distribution of wealth, is the free market. Anything else is just a willful denial of historical evidence.
