Ya he was on right after, said he looked into it and had not come up with anything. But he absolutely encouraged everyone to stay on alert.

I'll be watching as well. Should be interesting, although I place Beck in with all the other sensationalist type journalists out for a fat paycheck and ratings on both sides of the political aisle. I'm curious about the "battalion" in MD he talks about.
I'm just curious who you would agree with or who you think is credible on the Conservative side.

With that said there are a lot of bloviates, I agree.

Huckabee, Crist, Jindal, and Romney are all talented managers, charismatic, well spoken, articulate (except for the one Jindal speech last week), politically astute, fiscally responsible and knowledeable, calm in a storm personality types, and none of them appear to be the currently typical "over the top angry" conservatives. I voted for Huckabee in the primaries, in fact, and either he or Romney would have made a better run in the election than McCain - whom I respect, BTW. I think McCain's campaign was mismanaged, didn't communicate well on the issues, didn't take advantage of state of the art technology to spread the message, had an inferior strategy, and his choice of running mate was a flawed decision. If he had chosen Romney, I may have voted differently.

I would have really enjoyed a Romney v Obama debate. Mitt may be a bit stiff...but he would have offered up a damn good debate on economics.

I agree.

I do think that a Huckabee v Obama would be even better. Huckabee's sense of humor and ability to articulate ideas in a very
easy-to-understand way, would make things very interesting.

I also predict that we might seen a Huckabee v Obama debate in the not so distant future.

God I hope not that is all we need is another hurt and whining republican coming out TO CHALLENGE THE PREZ TO A DEBATE!!!

Or some dummy wanting to control the GOP and be their leader, is it not amazing they choose two wimps that can be taken apart so easy they, shake like marbles when they talk.....

Man,dont get me wrong but the best thing the party can do is tread lightly right now and tell big mouth radio hosts to hush up right now, dust their selves off and get back in there and fight,we dont need wimp morons coming out to challenge the president either, the more they do that the more ignorant they look......

If you have to know I am a republican,so understand I say this stuff because I am concerned....

I need to watch his show more often. I've caught it a handful of times and he is absolutely a "class act".

....

Power, I think in 4 years people are going to be looking for a whole lotta substance...and a whole lot less rhetoric. Don't count Mitt out just yet. I think if given the chance...he might grow on some folks. He's just a little stiff around the collar. I still wince at the whole group of young black kids thing...couldn't come with nothing than a whole "who let the dogs out" rant. It was funny...but I think it was a little telling, the guy just needs some more time on the trail. Trust me, I met John McCain up close and personal...in a combat zone...no camera's...and the guy looked uncomfortable as hell around us. But as soon as the brass and press showed up...it was a different McCain, it may be opposite for Mitt. It was odd--maybe we were a little foul smelling or something...lol.

I dont go after him personally, nor any of the others, but we need to understand that if your going to take on a titan and that is what he is with so much support we dont need someone that would easy be taken apart with a few strong comments about their pasts, take what is happening with RL and MS they come out and say a few things and next their the leaders of the GOP, then we need someone to lead the party that is not easily imitated,a new David if you will.....

Best way to debate someone is that you better know exactly what your talking about.....

I could show some great examples just being on this board....
