If anyone has contact with the Militia in Texas can you get in touch with them and verify?

Loading ...OK… thanks Shirliann for starting the blog. Here’s more info….

Texas State Senator, Dan Patrick, was on FoxNews this morning at 8:45am. He said he had some “breaking news to share”. Boy was it!!! The Texas State Legislature had been trying very hard to get the Obama Administration to respond to a critical situation on the Texas Border. The Administration had not gotten back with Texas as of last night. So the State of Texas told Washington D.C. basically they could go jump, and “we’ll take care of Texas!”. As of last night… the Texas National Guard has been put on High Alert!!! This is the first time in history! Texas tried, desperately to get Washington’s approval… but when they could not get it… they acted on their own. Which I say…. it’s about damn time!!! I personally applaud the guts it took to defy the Fed’s and act in our best interest! In case you are unaware of what the problems are …. Sen. Dan Patrick spelled it out nicely!

1) 100’s of PRO-DRUG CARTEL Mexicans were blocking the entrance to the United States, yesterday and today, banging cars, shouting and holding signs. 10 people were killed Wed. and 12 more yesterday at the border (5 of which were children!!!)
2) They aren’t sure … but they think the Drug Cartel is paying the demonstrators to do what they’re doing.
3) This will spill over into the States! Mr. Patrick, and the other State officials,. are convinced that road-side bombs and car bombs will make it across the border and WILL NOT allow that to happen!!
4) Mexico is breaking out in Civil War in the western part of the border and they expect it to spread the entire border with no end in sight.
5) The National Guard will be activated as the scenario worsens and is on Alert now and will remain so until (and IF) Washington does something to end the danger on the border (Yeah… like that’s gonna happen!).

FoxNews has yet to put this on their website which absolutely ticks me off!!!! I will post it IF they get the stones to do what’s right!

For now… here’s a link that will take you to a story on Feb. 12th that will help explain a lot.
>>>> CLICK HERE!

Let’s pray it doesn’t come to this…. but in reality… Texas could be in a Civil War (actually it would be an international incident) with Mexico very soon if this isn’t quelled. Just so you folks know…. the four Militia Groups that are here in Texas will be put on alert this evening. This has gotten REAL, REALLY FAST!

God help us… as we do what is necessary.

So I decided to Google the story

To be honest, if the Federal Government is not willing to help Texas in this situation, what the hell use is the Federal Government? Constitutionally, this is their ONE job. Instead they are busy nationalizing our banks, redistributing our wealth, and occupying countries on the opposite side of the planet.

Personally, I hope Texas wipes the floor with the drug cartels and tells the U.S. Government that it's no longer welcome in Texas.

Don't **** with Texas.

"The Texas State Legislature had been trying very hard to get the Obama Administration to respond to a critical situation on the Texas Border."

That's a very general statement.

Exactly what were they asking for and what were they expecting the federal government to do? Wouldn't such requests be part of the public record? Didn't someone post here that TX just proudly declared their "sovereignity?" Doesn't part of being "sovereign" mean that you take care of your own borders? However, all of the violence seems to be on the other side of the US-Mexico border, so why would federal involvement even be appropriate at this stage?

Help me out, please. What part of the constitution are you referring to? I like to keep up with this stuff.

Thanks.

I am not suprised. I worked with National Guard units on the Texas border many years ago. Durring Swings and Mids I was typically the only one with a gun, and the only one awake. I really don't see how the guard really did anything after 9/11 on the border as they kept their weapons in our armory and they sent them to the border along side the areas we would work without their rifles. They were genial nice guys when you got a chance to talk to them, but they really didn't do much for what we were doing. They told us that they could not apprehend illegals like we could under Posse Comitatus. That is a sore spot with me, considering talk of getting troops together to act against its citizens if martial law is declared, but they couldn't act against illegals in 9/11 when we were really concerned about terrorists penetrating our borders.

If the Texas Guard gets involved it is going to get hairy pretty quick. As I see it they have no basic rule of engagement other than protect Texas, which I think will lead to some spectacular border violence. Rounds are going to go back and forth across the Rio Grande. That is nothing new, I took rounds from the Mexican military all the time, but it is going to approach a level that is just going to reach an explosion point. That "undeclared, ignored" war is going to reach an open one, I think, unless this is controlled.

Why don't you do some reading into the original purpose of the Federal government, and stop nit-picking words.

From what I see, absolutely nothing has changed then. It has just gotten more publicity.
