Texas isn't what it used to be. We have been saturated with out-of-staters who move in and start making the change to be like where they left. Kind of like cockroaches. Pesky as hell and nearly impossible to get rid of.

I agree. Few wear cowboy hats and boots. Chicken fried steak is almost not to be found in cities. You can find OU merchandise all over North Texas. And worst of all, we have a governor whose hair looks almost as bad as that Illinois now-former governor. No matter what you think of Kay Bailey, any man who votes for a gov with hair like that is, well, you know (not that there is anything wrong with that, to quote Seinfeld).

Come on, we used to have a gov that kept paying SMU athletes illegally, even after being caught, because a man's word is his word. We promised him we were going to pay him to go to SMU so we were going to pay him. At least that gov had honor.
