Received "reduced power" wolff spring with combo

Hey Old School, just curious...I ordered a Don's Rod and Spring combo and received a "reduced power" spring. The card states:
"REDUCED POWER recoil springs are for use with REDUCED POWER AMMUNITION LOADS ONLY"

so i'm just curious...is this a mistake?

thanks

are you sure you got the reduced power spring? That same message was on my insert, and I got the 22# spring with normal power. I think they use one insert for both...

You received the correct spring. The insert is generic. Sorry for the confusion.

It's stock 18lb
I'm not sure if they can make an 18lb that is "normal" and an 18lb that is "reduced power". i mean 18 lb is 18 lb right? But I'm no expert so I thought i'd ask.

And thanks Old School!

If you look closely, the springs are actually for a compact 1911, ignore what it says except the pound rating, if you got it from Ajames or Pistol-Gear, you have the right thing

18 is an 18 but 18 is lower power for a 45
