Canyon Creek Extended Mag Release - Problems
Had it professionally installed in my XD40 Service and am not 100 percent jumpin' up for joy....very stiff and it's not unusual when inserting a magazine for the release not to lock the mag in place. What's going on? I don't feel real secure about this after-market part. Advice appreciated. Thanks.

Maybe it wasn't installed properly?
That spring in there is kind of weird.

I agree with Tengu, perhaps the install is wrong. There is not much that can go wrong with this part. Most troubles are cause by the installation.
