It is a matter of getting the specs and retooling. Considering the cost of tooling, it may be some time. Sorry.

OK...thanks for the reply. I'll keep checking you website for any news.
Any way to modify the current mag well to fit the new frames? Is it the plug or the mag well that will not work? It seems to me that the rib inside the grip well could be removed fairly easily if it serves no useful purpose as long as the grip dimensions haven't changed. I own both an XD9 service with the old style frame and an XD9 Tactical with the new frame. If there's a dimensional difference, it is too small to be seen. Thanks again for your help |

The issue is that little notch within the opening. A few have told me that they removed the notch and the magwell fits. My understanding is the notch has no value to the frame and is easy to remove. I personally have not tried it, as none of my frames have it. It is something to consider if you have a dremel to do the work.
