Pistol Gear.

I am a bit upset that I have to come in here to vent my frustration. A couple of weeks ago a place an order with pistol gear for items they showed as available and on hand, I later placed a second order to find out that my first orther was been held back because some of the ithems were out of stock(which item it would not say on their email), my secon order got held back because they had the item lost in the mail in route to their werehouse. I tried to call but their web page did not list a # (i just saw the # here on the forum) If the items are not in stock just say so, don't make me think I will be getting my purchased item as soon as you get the order, an after the fact e-mail to excuse the delay does not make it right.

I ordered an item one time and it arrived quicker than expected, the next not so quick ,but with that being said I was still happy. I will say that it may be the reason for the low prices-- they order products when needed as not to have a bunch of inventory collecting dust. I wish that I had more money than time to keep ordering more. There was a Springer trigger kit I wanted and now I have to wait cuz I bought a bunch more camping gear (RV) and upgrades (Direct way satellite INTERNET) wait till you fill one of these up with gas..... ouch rethinking my purchase now

They are good people- they will take care of you I am sure...

Inventory is dynamic. I'm not sure if OS's website tracks real time or not?

Did you email him?

Nowhere in your post does it say that you followed up with an e-mail or a private message. It just strikes me as a little petty that you would air a grievance with a site sponsor and well-respected member of this forum publicly like this without trying to resolve it through other means first.

PistolGear has a reputation for INCREDIBLE customer service. I've experienced that from them when I was trying desperately to get a hold of that limited offer package deal of three XD mags and an XD Gear mag holder.

I'd be shocked if you contacted Old School and he jerked you over. Unless you lodged your complaint in a less than courteous manner, which bad-mouthing PistolGear in a public forum is.

I would have called them if they offered a # on their web page, I saw a number here on the forum and will be calling. I did not e-mail because I rather talk to some one. You can take my post any way you like, I just wanted to vent, I did and I will do it againg when I call them. I have purchase from this vendor before with no problem, this time I have a problem.

I don't mind the waiting game when I am warn in advance, I got an e-mail saying I would have my items in the mail within 72 hrs, and then, two weeks later....Good luck with the RV.

I have ordered from Pistol Gear twice so far. Will be again soon. I think you are the first negative I have ever read about PG on this forum.

My service was extremely fast and exact from PG.

I haven't had a single issue with PG in three orders. Last order I had the fiancee place for me since I was at work. She accidently ordered the striker pins instead of the roll pin punch. (already have a set of the pins) A simple email to PG and they said no problem about removing it from the order ...

OK. We never got an email or PM from you, however, through my MOD powers I figured out who you are and did some research.

Order One: Delayed due to inventory shortage of the Tungsten Guide Rods. When you placed an order, someone in near-time ordered the same item. The other order checked out first, in essence taking the last one from stock. Sadly, the software isn't able to catch these exceptions, as there is a 10 minute timeout. Our error was sending out the update a day or so late.

We are awaiting a new batch of the rods. As soon as they arrive, your order will ship. We are sorry for this delay and if you prefer to cancel the order, we do understand.

Order Two: Delay caused by UPS mis-routing our first batch of 45ACP Magwells. Since these are the first batch, and the second batch is outside at the anodizer, we have no option but to wait on UPS. We agree that this frustrating and the moment we learned of the delay was the same moment that we sent out the email update. Our mistake was accepting orders until we had these in hand. We won't do this anymore.

In short, we are sorry. We do everything we can to do things right. Sadly, things come up that are outside of our control. We do react, but not always to the expectations of our customers.

OS

I just want to receive my parts, go to the range and shoot. Everyone seems to have an awesome experience dealing with Pistol Gear, to include me 'till my last two orders. I guess all the planets and the stars were not in alignment for me the days I place my orders. I will shut up and wait. Thanks for all the replys.
