Recovered

Package was recovered from the neighbor down the road. He was trying to sell it on another board but I caught him red handed. He was arrested for 4 felonies, 3 of which are Federal.

Just a personal observation but, you may have handled this privately via PM versus publicly in the forum. My .02

Also your signature is a total BS story... never happened, sounds good though.

I went to the post office to file a claim and the guy told me not to hold my breath. Who is responsible for this as I am out $151.00. Why was it not sent out signature required. There is no option for upgraded shipping and it was insured so what is the next step? I sent you guys an email but it has not been answered yet and there is no phone number on the site!

PistolGear is straight up and reputable if it was ordered it was sent, and +1 on handling this thru private pm or email

Sounds like your beef is with the USPS. A polite private request to Pistol Gear to help deal with the postal service might have been more appropriate.

As replied to your email. I ask that we take this discussion off-line...

"You said it was stolen from your home? Stealing mail is a federal crime. Did you file a police report?

The package was insured, at our cost, not yours. You are able to file a claim if you like. I would suggest you give it a few more days in case it is floating around. In 4 years, shipping over 4000 packages per year, only two have been lost. "

I was in no way claiming it was their fault!

If you are at home when your postal carrier comes around tomorrow ask him if he remembers setting it at your door.

You check with your neighbors to see if they got a free gift?

This is one reason I suggested he wait a few days before filing the claim. Either it was mis-delivered or the package is at the post office sitting on a table.

Don't you think i have already exhausted all options like that. The carrier remembers delivering it. My neighbor doesn't have it. I contacted you because I am 100% sure it was stolen!!!!

If it was stolen, then you should contact the police and your insurance agent. If the USPS knows that they delivered it, there is no claim to file. That said, if they have no proof of delivery, they will send you the check. It will take a few weeks to get your money. The burden of proof is on the USPS when you have insurance.

Sorry for your troubles. It shows you that when the good people do things right, the bad people will step in to cause trouble. Do you often have your mail and packages stolen?
