Between the Meps and Trijicons, which one do you like more?

Edit: Reread your previous post. Let me know how much you want for the Meps.
Well, like I stated before, there is something about the Meps I don't care for.
I don't like how deep the rear sight notch is;

Pic is Meps compared to stock sight..
I don't know if that has relevance to POA or POI but I don't like it.
I am more accurate with the Trijicons on the XD45C.
That may be the pistol or the sights or the 45ACP round, not sure there either.
I had Trijicons on my Sig P229 and shot that pistol very well.
They dimmed out after about 9 or 10 years.
So I prefer the Trijicons.
After 2 months of research and recommendations from a few here,
including Reeek and Light of Night,
I'm going with the Heinie Straight 8s as soon as I get my pistol back.
I feel they will be great for CCW, I'm not sure how they would do in IDPA.
James at;
http://www.shop.xd-hs2000.com/catego...?categoryId=13
has some of the best prices I've seen.
He also offers free installation on sights purchased from him.
Just send him your slide, regular mail, and he will get 'em on for you.
I'll post pics of the Straight 8s once I get it done....
I'll try to remember to PM you when the Meps are available
I won't get the gun back from Tripp's for another 4 or 5 weeks.
Have a great weekend people..............

I had the Heine 8 on my Taurus PT-145. I heard great things about them but it took me a while to get used to them. I didn't know how far apart do I stack the dots to form the figure 8. Sometimes I had the two dots touching each other. Sometimes I had a little space between them. My hits were centered side to side but the height was always changing. It might be the extra long trigger of the PT-145 too. Either way, I sold the gun because I wanted a consistent sight picture between my play guns and carry gun. That's another reason I'm looking for night sights that look and feel like the stock sights.

That's interesting PH.
I didn't think about all that.
Maybe on the shorter XD9sc that will be less of a problem.
Now you have me second guessing the straight 8s......

I had PT night sights on my Glock 26.
They come with green front, yellow, blue, green, red,or orange rear.
Learn About Tritium and how we use it
Fixed;
Springfield XD: PT Night Sights MMC Adjustable Sights
Adjustable, but out of stock;
Springfield XD: PT Night Sights MMC Adjustable Sights

I was pretty happy with them, I had the fixed red rear sights.
The red dimmed out after about 8 years, the front green was dim but still usable when I sold the gun after 10 years.
