Just based on the pics I found online, I like the Mepro better. They look more like the stock sights. However, the price on the Truglo Brites looks good.

Anyone got pics of either on their XD?

I put a set on for Gunzzi last year, he should have some pics

Anyway between Meprolights and Trijicons, I like the Meps better. The white ring is PVC and not just a painted ring as on the Trijicons.

This is stock sights vs. Meprolights, on my XD9sc.
Sorry the flash washed out the pic so much.

Trijicons (left) Meprolights (right), again sorry for the wash out.

I took these several months ago.
To be honest I don't really care for the Meps.
I can't really put my finger on it why.
One thing I don't like is how deep the notch is in the rear sight.
When I get my XD9sc back from Tripp's, I'm sending the slide to James @ Springfield Armory XD and HS-2000.com for a set of Heine Straight Eights.
As soon as that is done, there will be a set of Meps for sale here on the forum.
Good day all............

Do you have any sideview pics? I'm concerned about how some aftermarket sights leave a gap between the sight and the slide. Like you could slide your drivers license underneath it.

Thanks.

Thumbs up truglo tritium pics

Heres some of my 40 sub with truglo tri's on it. As a testiment to truglo, I hear alot of bashing, Monday got out of my truck, had my pistol inside a fobus paddle, I dropped it on the rear corner of the slide, forcing the slide forward, now this was from four feet to the blacktop, loaded with one in the chamber. The weapon didn't discharge, it didn't damage the slide coating, and didn't damage the truglo's. Now let someone tell me how fragile they are...

Picasa Web Albums - chuck - XD 40 Sub wit...

Thanks.
These are also old pics.
I would take another pic of the Meps but the gun is at Tripp's right now.
Neither the Trijicons or Meprolights have a gap big enough to annoy me.
And I'm pretty picky about that stuff.
That gap (and the fact they are so big) is what turned me off to the TFOs.
Trijicons on theXD45 Compact.

Meps on the XD9sc (bottom) / Trijicons on the XD45C (top)

Hope that helps............

Sounds like we have the same concerns. The TFO are too much for me.

Between the Meps and Trijicons, which one do you like more?

Edit: Reread your previous post. Let me know how much you want for the Meps.

Probably my carry gun, the XD40sc. It will be the gun I use for our low light IDPA matches.
